Thanks for getting mike to put the record straight.

Great interview and nice to know there are a few seasoned investors here all drawing the same conclusion.

So true Joy. Unfortunately, most forums have one mindless cretin wanting to be the focus of our attention for the wrong reasons due to the lack of ability. Never helpful, always critical.

Whoever you are Mr McGeveer, thank you for your input and insight. It is rare we learn why your like invest. I loved the Soh comment, very gracious of you. And thank you elrico for taking me up on my request.

So much feels different about Opti now.

Even the way it went again after dipping on Friday.

Usual pattern is a spike followed a by a drop back down pm but it was very strong even into the close with online sell limits very good.

Does bode well for further strength.

Re news - update on Tata soon? US pharma Rns? Further tr1's?
UK supermarket? Nobody knows but would you bet against any or all of the above.

Sold my holding in OPTI on Friday and took another profit (fifth or sixth time) after holding for three weeks.
Share price is lower than 2.5 years ago, but there's nothing to stop people from making a profit in OPTI whilst waiting for it to "takeoff."
The share price goes up and down like clockwork. No point in blaming TW or the "big seller" which appears to be the same comments from more than two years back.
Alternatively buy something simple and low risk like ATT (Allianz Tech Trust),PCT (Polar Capital Trust), both up around 230% over the the last 2.5 year period or bog standard ULVR up 50% plus divis.

Tom W did a great job in getting Opti noticed early which definitely helped the share price. This allowed benefits such as minimal dilutions in placements. As we know the placement previous to the most recent saw Opti buy Skin IP and turn it into its own company significantly increasing its value. This time the funds are planned to be used to increase the rate at which Opti can enter the huge pharmaceutical market. The benefits of growing too quickly have come at a cost of stagnation of growth over the past few years where the value of the company got ahead of itself for where it was in its development. Imo this blame can mostly be put on to Tom W for giving the impression Opti was much further down the commercial track. Opti may have seen a gradual growth rate up to current levels if a clearer picture was given earlier rather than too much hype. Intelligent investors such as Mike have been quietly building a stake before the next leg up now which has been coming for a long time. There will be others such as IIs building too as the company is about to visibly show in a language easily understood. Revenue growth will be like a rear view mirror which will increase as the existing deals build momentum as well as an increasing number of deals continue to build across the platforms.Everything is looking good for a step up. Good luck all

After 36 years there is that chance lol. Well TW's source may be 'close' to Opti but it isn't the CEO who does know lol. Anyway, off to see Clapton

Parsnip - I'd wager your wife knows you better than you do!!

To be fair to TW, it's his "close OPTI contact" that is wrong.

I am confident that it is going to take off tomorrow morning. All the signs are there IMHO. Momentum is building and probably most importantly the big seller has been cleared.

In all the years I ever invested, this is the best B.B. forum I have ever come across. Information is freely available and extremely well researched, so I truly thank you all for the time and effort you have taken.

Isn't it a modern day tragedy though when someone like Tw asks for money from investors when he googles a tr1 name and doesn't confirm it via the company or a named source.

Anybody that knows Opti well knows it's the wrong MM!

I nearly posted the other day that I wish he didn't cover Opti he's almost a drag on the credibility not that that will be an issue over the coming weeks.

Tw stfu!!!

Scotty - Essentially, TW saying I'm wrong for suggesting he identified the wrong Mike McGeever responsible for the TR1 on Friday. Odd, because I'm in regular contact with Mike and he himself confirmed TW has identified the wrong Mike McGeever. Rather worryingly, it is not TW that is wrong, but OPTI BOD. Make of that what you will.
