06/7/2018 09:22 | Martinu Tt a has summed it up really. On a more basic level though if you do a dummy sell for a decent size sell or buy say above normal market size. The quote you get back gives you an idea of what's going on in the background. As Parob has stated since that placing the online bid quotes have often been above mid price showing a serious demand in the background. As for further buying, once the ii have filled up the price tends to start to rise and then we will attract those sat on the sidelines looking for a chart breakout after that its momentum and business numbers and new deals. 06/7/2018 09:15 | TT - thanks for that. So when these IIs are done, I imagine less shares in general circulation. Where will the demand come from to raise share price after that? I would imagine PIs wouldn't be able to make purchases anywhere near as big as IIs. Cheers. MU | m4rtinu
06/7/2018 08:10 | It basically means MM's are bidding for stock - often large Qtys, higher than the mid price. This shows demand is there from brokers to fill clients orders (SoH has said the placing was oversubscribed and they have a waiting list of entities that want OPTI shares) unfortunately II demand does not always equal a higher price. They will want a block of shares at a certain price and their brokers will be pushing MM's to fill the orders no higher than that price. MM's want to keep their broker business (else they clear off to another MM) so they hold the price, drop the price, do anything in their power to collect shares from weak hands to fill the broker orders. That has been evident over the past few weeks | trotterstrading
06/7/2018 07:47 | Cheers FredD.The microbiome is now getting coverage in pretty much every mainstream consumer publication out there, whether that be online or print.2/3 years ago it would be the odd article here or there that would get posted on this bb.Optibiotix is a WORLD LEADER in microbiome modulation. Next week we will hopefully see the second shoulder complete on the inverse H&S chart formation, then all eyes will be on a break above resistance at 75p, ready for our WHOOSH moment. | parob
06/7/2018 07:23 | There is a longish article on the gut microbiome in this month's SAGA Magazine. It covers a good deal of ground regarding the gut and also mentions the anti-anxiety effect of Bifidobacterium longum 1714. All this helps build up the background detail. Worth a read if you are not too young to get your hands on a copy! | fredd
05/7/2018 19:41 | Shrewdmole - sorry to be awkward, but could you elaborate on that, for someone who is not so well versed in these things? | m4rtinu
05/7/2018 18:46 | Parob Buy and sell limits have been strong for days. Once the big boys have taken positions we will be away. S | shrewdmole
05/7/2018 18:00 | Haha funny guy. | slartybartfaster
05/7/2018 16:42 | Rafboy, as I mentioned the other day there has been a noticeable change recently in the amounts you can sell online and the price they’re prepared to pay for them. I did a dummy sell of 25K just before the close and was quoted 67.82p. So yes, I think someone does want our shares. | parob
05/7/2018 15:47 | Someone just sold almost 15k shares at 67.82p. That’s a decent premium, do they want our shares? | rafboy
05/7/2018 14:47 | Nobody has John. ;) Slarty - you forget, I've seen those biceps of yours. I thought they were well toned for a woman....then you turned round. :-) | elrico
05/7/2018 14:16 | Ha ha, I have since I took up Tae Kwon Do Slarty! No probs Lounge. I guess I just don't have Elrico's shaking style 😂 John | 2350220
05/7/2018 14:09 | 2350220 - I'm just playing mate. :) Didn't mean to offend. | loungeact
05/7/2018 13:50 | m4rtinu - I'm guessing it burns calories, which is what lazy fatties need to do, especially if they can't be bothered to use a blender etc. | loungeact
05/7/2018 13:28 | Totally agree!! I use powders too, unless you use a blender you generally get lumps , | robo28
05/7/2018 13:04 | John, agree with both you and elrico, if thats possible. My shake didnt have the plastic mesh aft the dog got its teeth into it. I did get a free shaker with an order, this had the plastic mesh. A good shake for under 10 seconds for me, no lumps, non at all. You must have biceps like Mary Poppins John. | slartybartfaster
05/7/2018 12:56 | I wonder if the physical act of shaking gives additional benefit :) | m4rtinu
05/7/2018 12:52 | Regardless of how well it mixes, it’s about time Slimbiome was on the market in products other than gofigure. Knighton were signed up back in November. | imnotlong
05/7/2018 12:43 | John you add the powder to the water not the water to the powder and shake vigorously for about 20 shakes . it really is that simple | thebigchap
05/7/2018 12:21 | Just pointing out a problem. John | 2350220
05/7/2018 12:06 | Indeed Parob ... woe is me, these endless games and manipulation :O/ | onedayrodders
05/7/2018 12:02 | I use protein and various other powders on a daily basis and yet to EVER come across one that doesn't produce lumps of any kind, unless of course you're using a blender or smoothie maker etc. It does also depend on the amount you need to add too. It's a little laughable that his is considered a "problem". Think people are just lazy. No wonder they're fatties!! | loungeact
05/7/2018 11:28 | On this very rare occasion, I have to disagree with you Elrico. No matter how 'vigorously' I tried shaking them, I couldn't ever get rid of the lumpy bits (I'm aware that this is starting to sound like some kind of Carry On script). The only way I found to overcome this, was to use a hand blender, which ended up with more mess. I eventually gave up on the Shakes altogether. IMHO, I don't think that they should have released them onto the market till they had sorted that problem, as it creates bad press. As much as I want Opti to do well, and love the snak bars, I'm sure I'm not the only one who didn't re-order the Shakes as a result. BTW, has SoH said anything about the idea of using Slimbiome in Super Trouper? To make a healthy weightloss drink that all folks would love. All the best, John | 2350220
05/7/2018 10:47 | Currently selling above mid price (again). | parob
05/7/2018 10:46 | I've never understood the case for lumps in the old formula....the shakes that is. If you have a shaker with a grill, a vigorous shake for c10 seconds, job done, no lumps. I think some people a lazy sods. ;) | elrico |
