19/6/2018 08:52 | Yeah, its got to the point they make me nervous:) | elrico
19/6/2018 08:35 | Thank gif there's none of those nasty positive RNS's today | onedayrodders
19/6/2018 07:59 | Good find by AJS on twitter, Morley's came 88th in the Sunday Time top 200 mid tier Private Company's for international growth | trotterstrading
19/6/2018 07:52 | Of course will be a 3rd party right of audit. Numbers to opti and iif disagreement then binding 3rd party determination. | meganxmas
18/6/2018 23:11 | Surly you don't go off someone's word in big business like this, surly they would have the accountants go over morlys books !???? | robo28
18/6/2018 22:29 | Presumably the 'healthy' Morleys product does not have "added sugar" but if it does, I trust they are adding Sweetbiotix instead. | aspex
18/6/2018 15:30 | A bit of a naive question perhaps: Does OPTI get to audit partners' accounts or do they have to rely on honesty of partner re profits? I would assume a "local" firm like Morleys would be trustworthy but what about big multi-nationals? | m4rtinu
18/6/2018 13:36 | Hopefully Morrison’s supermarket, through Opti’s chairman connections, will be signing up soon. Must be good odds on that. | imnotlong
18/6/2018 13:34 | elrico, blog update | pglancy
18/6/2018 13:23 | Thanks risky. Also Shrewd, your comment about this deal way down the line, I don't think it is. In the RNS:Morleys have invested substantive resource over the last six months in developing a range of muesli products containing SlimBiome(R) to be sold as own label products to major retailer or as product line extensions to existing well- known brands. | primal123
18/6/2018 13:06 | Very interesting deal. We are familiar with the 50/50 profit sharing deal in place for just the ingredient with Knighton Foods. To have a 50/50 deal in place for a final Muesli 'plus' product will mean a higher % of revenue from a higher valued product further down the value chain. Knighton and John Morley both supply major super markets and big brands. From the RNS:'Morleys have invested substantive resource over the last six months in developing a range of muesli products containing SlimBiome(R) to be sold as own label products to major retailer or as product line extensions to existing well- known brands.'The likelihood of these pots hitting major supermarket shelves is high considering Knighton and Morley are big suppliers to them already. 50/50 profit share from a product hitting a major supermarket could be exceptionally profitable. Not to mention if a big brand takes these pots on. Until this happens however I agree with Sienna's comment. The business plan seems to be playing out very well across the divisions. I agree with Shrewds comment of having a chart of launch dates. I guess the only issue would be that this is completely out of Optis hands in terms of the variability of each deal. These companies are investing a lot of time and money therefore will launch in their own time. One thing is for certain there is now revenue sources left right and centre with a cost base that does not increase with each deal signed. | riskybusiness1
18/6/2018 12:12 | only problem is we've been calling sellers idiots for nearly 2 1/2 years now | onedayrodders
18/6/2018 12:01 | Seems you can't help some investors. MM taking idiots out with stop yet again. | pglancy
18/6/2018 11:19 | Sienna, good point. | rafboy
18/6/2018 10:19 | Yep, no numbers just more pie tomorrow. Looking forward to a big slice but until then we've a mid-50s resistance level to retest... | rathean
18/6/2018 10:01 | Wtaf? Down? | runthejoules
18/6/2018 09:53 | Rafboy,I personally wouldn't have expected this Rns to have made that much of a difference to the share price While being another positive step in the right direction, it sounds like quite a small stepping stone deal to me - "just Muesli products and just in the UK" (so I would have thought this would be one of the smaller £100k -£250k revenue producers that have previously been suggested).Nice to have another deal on the table though : )CheersSienna | siennadelekat21
18/6/2018 09:42 | Is it ramping with all these deals coming in??? | robo28
18/6/2018 08:58 | Maybe some ramping? | monkeywench1
18/6/2018 08:56 | Fair enough Shrewdmole you could well be right. Disappointing share price reaction so far to today’s news so we do need something to help things along. | rafboy
18/6/2018 08:54 | For the medium term this is a no brainer for me because they have so many irons in the fire that we only need a fraction of them to be successful. So I am accumulating. >> Parob Not ignoring your question on the N4P thread I am just a little hectic as I am on my way to a funeral this morning and just stopped to check prices! | nobbygnome
18/6/2018 08:53 | Good points shrewdmole. It might sound like I'm whinging, but I don't mean to. I have zero doubt that this will all work itself out in the end, but this journey we all find ourselves on, can be a tad frustrating at times. I've stopped getting excited & telling my lovely wife about these announcements, because quite reasonably, the first question she asks is "So are we in profit yet?" Ha ha, one day, honest. 18/6/2018 08:47 | Raf From memory a lot of the info is out there in various forms. Tweets, Rns etc. It would be purely like a progress report with approximate launches. If any particular company didn't know due to regulatory hurdles etc then just put unknown but a lot of them have made rough launch statements. It would go a long way to showing the snowball effect of multiple products on shelves and revenue growth without soh hanging himself on specific numbers. S | shrewdmole
18/6/2018 08:44 | Shrewdmole, I like that idea but would the companies concerned want to give competitors that info too early? | rafboy |
