I will say he expects more deals with hard numbers attached in the coming weeks.

We will see.If that be the case we should motor through the pound mark and beyond 👍

Still quite a way from a supermarket launch then by the sounds of it
Gotta sort these teething problems out before any major launch
Think twice and act once

Veru adding the powder after the water should help.

Sahking vigorously certainly doesn't work with the cranberry ones - there's a solid layer of powdered ingredients on the bottom of the pot, which only breaks down after liquid's added. Then it breaks down slowly - shaking vigorously at this stage would be very messy indeed. Presumably they'll sort it for the next production runs, and they're very yummy indeed (and not too oaty a all)

It's a muesli. Personally I think they are fine as they are. The only change I'd make is to make it clear that people shake vigorously before opening.

I see they add stickers now on the box as indeed there are no serving instructions on the pot so for a short while when I first received these I was unsure how to serve them. Sounds silly but there was doubt there. Now quite a good idea they put a sticker on the box saying to add milk, juice or water which they can put on the tub going forward.

Risky, yes I am sure that will happen at some point soon. Now looking forward to hearing more about TATA, China, Sweetbiotix and supermarket deals. Such an exciting future ahead for us shareholders.

I don't think it's a question of why not it's more of a when. They're currently ironing out any issues such as packaging and like Elrico pointed out I think they're too Oaty and need a bit more fruit/nuts as some mouthfuls are exceptionally nice. By gaining customer feedback first via a small production run they can then amend accordingly so that once it is presented to the masses there are no issues with the product. It's the usual process. John Morley will easily get these into a supermarket.

Still being ramped, and that’s on no cash deals. It’s laughable that nobbygnome puts out that a bid 5 times the present overvalued mc will be offered! That’s £380m on no income and not one deal/contract into the uk market!

OPTI is SoH's swan song, he will want to grow the business exponentially on the next 2-3 years then step away through trade sales IMHO. He is an entrepreneur 1st and foremost and he is not getting any younger. I've always thought (indeed commented here over the years) OPTI is a $bln business in the making, I stand by that assessment with a 3-5 year time horizon. For those with less lofty ambitions I think we could see a half billion valuation in less than 3 years

I completely agree with your comment about the sweet spot. Microbiome based products are going to be the next big area of healthcare and OPTI are ideally placed to grab a good part of the market with their BTB strategy. As for the ultimate market cap, that is very difficult to determine but five fold up from here is nailed on IMHO. However, this area is going to be so hot in the next couple of years, it is difficult to imagine that OPTI will stay independent and at some point there will be a ridiculous offer probably from a Pharma company.

As I have said before, in my long investing experience, this is the best opportunity I have ever seen. It is not only a very elegantly put together company but also an ethical investment which will transform million of people's lives.

Onwards and upwards....but DYOR!,

I can’t see a successful bid happening for the whole but I can see the appetite for one of the big guns to go for slimbiome medical now it has the device status and ce mark.

I still feel this could really hit several of the established weight loss companies once it’s rolled out in uk.

Especially if it’s stocked in boots etc.

It was mentioned sometime ago that boots were looking at a space in store for a range of Opti products but we haven’t heard any more yet?

It will all depend on management execution. But there is a huge market opportunity for someone to grasp.Jeff Bezos grew Amazon really fast and today it is the biggest company in the world by market cap. But its business model was a lot easier to copy than Opti's.I remember trying some of the Amazon competitors in the early days. One supplied a book with the right title but by a different author. WH Smith sold books and CDs that had prices just a little higher than Amazon. And if there was a problem Amazon sorted it. Amazon executed better than the competition.Opti has products with a wide moat which is difficult to cross. But there are several pharma companies that could try and one or more of them could be more nimble than Opti. Opti has very few people to execute its strategy and some of those have non-executive roles.Opti relies on other companies to do a lot of its work. These partners may not be up to the task. And as I have mentioned before these are new product areas which need consumer education and education of medical professionals. And that task is being overlooked. And if someone bid two times the market price for Opti stock they might get lucky.

Fellow wise investors! (that's all of you motley crew)Earlier today someone suggested that (IIRC) the market cap of Opti could increase 3 fold over the next 5 years. This rather bemused me, frankly. I think that poster was way off the mark. SOH at an investor meet run by TW, suggested that the value of the combined co could be in the region of 500M (again, this is from memory). This would equate to a 6.25 fold increase in share price (assuming no dilution - which effectively is what happens in spin-off IPOs). My own view is that Opti has the potential to be another 10-bagger over the next 3 (I expect within this timeframe there will be a sweet-spot of biome-mania pushing PIs into throwing themselves into this). SOH isn't one for hyperbole, and in this respect is pretty conservative in his estimate.Any * reasoned * target market cap conjecture is welcome -Cheers all.

Fred will probably not start with Opti until he has completed his current notice period. Per only started 3 months after his appointment was announced.

Agree its thrown around so often it's become devalued. Actually I would argue 2018 was the year transformed (from RnD to commercial), I would describe 2019 as explosive!
