FY end of April. I don't expect much revenue visibility, but do expect a very good commercial update. Perhaps we will get guidance on when each product can be expected to come on stream. However, I suspect NDAs will play a big part. I guess I'm suggesting we don't pin unreasonable expectation on FY results.

Sorry to hear that ZEBBO.
It sure doesn't make me feel better that another investor is well under water as well as myself (and I suspect most others on here too).
BTW do we know when the FY results are due? Is it sometime in April?

I think it is fair to say that 2018 is an important year for OPTI and investors alike.

Sunday Morning reflection

Just checked my account today, result - I have a 6 figure holding (which of course I know) and showing a 5 figure loss (which I did not know, until now). No I am not a HWI, so it does hurt

Just thought I would share this as it may make others feel a little better, during this period of share price stagnation

I am still a happy holder as value will be realized and a true re rating will happen as it did for N4P (apologies for keep mentioning this) However, if we dont get more financial clarity along with FY results I will be disappointed, along with others I assume. At some point soon we need to turn promise into ££. Like I say hopefully FY results will provide the catalyst, or we may get a deal that ignites the re-rating

Don't ask awkward questions, You won't like the answer. I'm betting they, the big boys have had remarkable foresight and bailed their OPTI shares and ploughed the lot into Bitcoin or some blockchain ramparoonie at the low and now riding the crest, but they won't tell you at a latter date, they got suckered and now done their conkers after being scammed by some Bitcoin email phishing scam. The correction will come and it will be violent and the lemmings won't recognise it until it is too late. OPTI is a safe as you get, even in a bear market. It won't be hit like so many stocks needing finance, because it has cash, it is generating cash and will be profitable in 2018. The number of deals per platform could be 3x10 and if they only generate an average of £250k pa each...do the mathes. OK, it may take another 2+ years to sign them all off, but they are multi year deals, with very limited downside. It is only the impatient so called investors that have created a negative period; they want to chace the blockchain rainbow. I have seen it all before with the dotcom boom. Rinse and repeat and it gets worse now, because the lemmings feed off the twitter feeds now and think it is research.

Whatever is going on behind the scenes with either someone buying or someone selling In the long term this will only be going one way, and it’s not down!

I’ve just found this...

It seems Peter Wennstrom (Healthy Marketing Team/OPTI Board Director) is doing a talk in Mexico City in conjunction with DSM:

Peter Wennstrom has commented:

Challenge or Opportunity?
The global health trend is reshaping the food and beverage market and the combination of government interventions and changing consumer preferences is creating a perfect storm for many traditional categories. Challenge or Opportunity? It depends on how well you are able to navigate in this new landscape.

On DSM’s LinkedIn page re the event:

As a leading nutrition company, DSM knows the needs of consumers and invites its customers to one of the most awaited trends and innovation events of the year. Limited Places.

IMHO the new chairman will almost certainly be awarded performance related options as Christina and Per.

I only see the selling every day outnumbering the buying
I only see every day a drip down in the share price (check the graph)
If we had a buyer I would expect the opposite
bwtfdik
Happy to be proven wrong and as I keep saying somebody must be taking up the constant selling

The 200k is definitely a buy.

I've been watching on line limits recently as its the best indicator of what's available or not as the case may be.

No way that was a sell IMHO. Been able to buy below mid so that fits for the size of the trade.

Interesting one that Elrico, the rules on Director buys are clear as mud from what I can see. Indeed if we continue to have frequent commercial news, scientific updates/breakthroughs as well as closed periods, one could argue there would be no time for Directors to buy in the open market at all. If not in a closed period what is considered an acceptable timeframe from director buy until 'price sensitive' news? I've certainly seen other examples on AIM of large Director buys with major news within a 2 week period.

JJ, if you think you could offload 124 grands worth of stock ABOVE the mid price, on a day of low volume and majority sells, AND finish the day just 1.8% down, with respect it's not us that are delusional;0)Why do you find it so hard to believe we have a buyer?

JJ - it is 100% a buy, there is no question about it, if that was a sell we would be a lot lower. But who cares anyway, order has been filled, let's see if we bounce back next week!
