24/7/2017 22:11 | I've tried to open a Long with Corespreads, but they won't let me. I just get a message to say that one can only Close an existing position, not Open a new one. So I don't understand how you managed to take a position with them Elrico. John | 2350220
24/7/2017 20:13 | Colin - For once, I am going to be a lazy and ask; What was the correlation in the underlying VOD shares post free verizone shares? ie: what price were Verifone shares and what price were VOD before and post Verifone release? My thinking is there's typically a trade-off with the divi and underlying share price ex divi. I don't expect OPTI to behave the same because of the initial cost to OPTI, it not being in the prospectus/business plan, and of course there will be a lock-in period. Core gave me the following formula. I am using 20p SBTX because I expecting OPTI to release SBTX shares under positive newsflow. SBTX shares = 20p (just for the purpose of mathematics), thus a 20p IN-SPECIE divi @ 200pp = £4000 - 10% = £3600. This is pretty much how it has been explained to me, because Core do not expect to be trading SBTX shares. This could change of course, but as it stands, Core are expecting to pay me under the same terms as a divi is paid. They did not indicate a reduction OPTI shares. | elrico
24/7/2017 15:28 | Parob, there is a video on u tube, problem is I don't speak German, it does look very professional though. | warren1982
24/7/2017 13:28 | I got a response from Core with ref my long bet in OPTI; "Your position will be cash adjusted on the Ex date for the special dividend. You are long you will receive 90% of the dividend, as there is a government withholding tax of 10%." | elrico
24/7/2017 13:24 | 6 months supply, Parob? Adnan - Be sure to send your findings to SOH :) | elrico
24/7/2017 13:06 | That should last you!! I am planning a 3 month trial, stopping statin and just the LP LDL. Cholesterol was 7.5mmol/l before starting statin and recently 4.8mmol/l. Blood pressure also borderline so ideal candidate. Will post resultsThanksAdnan | adnanwolf
24/7/2017 13:04 | Well done Parob, that should all go to help the share price :-) John | 2350220

24/7/2017 12:46 | Hi Parob I just ordered 90 caps for £46 shipping to UK. Where are you shipping to because that seems steepThanksAdnan | adnanwolf
24/7/2017 12:39 | Ref divi payments via SB, LONG. I'm not sure what I was confused about, but it is clear I was confused about something. I'm blaming it on the trooper. It appears I am WRONG, SB providers pay 80-90% of the divi payments, not 100%, something to do with tax mechanisms....my eyes always glazed over at this point. With regards "in-specie" this is less clear due to the fact in most cases SBTX is not tradeable yet due to market cap. Anyone short will have to cover the divi. This why I have always doubted there are any significant open short positions in OPTI. I guess part of the conundrum for SBTX distribution is around releasing the shares without negatively effecting OPTI/SBTX at the point of release, due to the natural nature of a underlying share reaction once it goes ex divi. Typically, the value of the divi is discounted back in the share price. This is why OPTI BOD want a lock-in period to minimize disruption. So far, Corespreads have not come back to me with what I can expect in relation to my £200pp post ex divi. I had no experience in a company issuing "in-specie divi" while holding a long bet. | elrico
24/7/2017 12:24 | Rafboy, I have just set up a HLH account very easily and paid through Paypal. Cost was £83.56 for 90 capsules including international delivery. | parob
24/7/2017 12:09 | Looking forward to buying it in the UK! | rafboy
24/7/2017 11:59 | OUR VERY FIRST LP-LDL product is now available to buy through the HLH website – what an achievement! You only have to google 'Lactobact LDL control' to see the list of sites that previously sold the AB-Life LDL-Control which should now sell this replacement product. I found: - numerous websites in Germany including Amazon - UK: - Poland: - Russia: - sites in Spain and Italy. I wonder if there'll be a youtube video made for this new product. There was for the Lactobact AB-Life product: | parob
24/7/2017 08:01 | Here's the link : And I just thought that I'd do a quick search around and found Amazon are selling the bars : All very encouraging IMHO, to see actual products being sold. John | 2350220

23/7/2017 15:18 | If you can remember the free Verizon shares holders in Vodafone were given a few years back the spread betting companies acted accordingly and applied the Verizon shares to client positions depending on the size of them. Same thing will happen here once the it's announced. It's a little different in that punters could sell their Verizon shares when they wanted but it looks like they'll be a lock-in period with SBTX. | colinzeal
23/7/2017 14:18 | I don't see how SBTX special divi effects any open SB. As as I'm aware (from experience) I have NOT been given any divi payment when a company has paid a divi, this part of the goes to the SB provider because they own the underlying stock not the client. | elrico

23/7/2017 09:58 | Put simply, will have to reflect whatever happens in the underlying market to your position. So, if free SBTX shares are dished out they will apply the same to your account, applied as necessary. Just be aware of the minimum holding period for SBTX shares and when you're able to trade out of them; if you're on a DFB the overnight charges may stack up if you've taken a position in OPTI in size. Chances are they will have to apply any forward bet with an expiry date (i.e. Dec/Mar) to a DFB to reflect the minimum holding period. Might want to check that with them directly though. | colinzeal
23/7/2017 00:41 | on the subject of SBTX, has anyone given any thought as how this will effect open spread bet positions when the shares are allocated back to opti holders? when SOH first mentioned floating SBTX and giving shares to Opti holders last year I contacted IG to enquire how it would affect my open position. They explained to me that what ever ratio the share split would be, my open position would be reduced by the same ratio and be given an open position for the remainder in SBTX. (in other words if you get 1 free sbtx for every 4 held in opti your spread bet would be reduced to 75% with the remaining 25% in SBTX. Now that SBTX has been floated, with no dilution as such,(quite the opposite in fact) will this still be the case ?? Will the spread better get any SBTX shares or a new SBTX open position in regard to there open Opti position ?? I would appreciate other peoples opinions on this matter | hamcutlet

22/7/2017 18:42 | Does anyone have any idea when the cut off will be for SBTX shares or how this is likely to play out. Understand this has been discussed many times but was a consensus ever reached Thanks FYB | zebbo
22/7/2017 16:05 | One things for sure we have lots of well-researched, overweight investors here!I did a dummy sell late Friday and despite the 65-69p spread was quoted 67.1p so a couple of early buys on Monday morning and we should turn blue. Surely the last opportunity to buy under 70p with all the anticipated newsflow. Let's not forget SOH had family buy in heavily at 75p which was confirmed in recent TW interview! | parob
22/7/2017 15:29 | Joined the party at 34 and chased it up to 90 with an average of 67.overweight here but have a bit on one side for sweetbiotix which could make rapid progress with early deals and revenue.very comfortable with the way opti is evolving and looking at a 5 year timeframe.good luck all lth | mikerobe1
22/7/2017 15:28 | Diamond, hopefully you will hold SBTX soon when the free shares are dished out. | rafboy |
