Looks like they have sold 30 million on and the rest will get filtered through to pi's at a 10-20% profit.

It did start to dawn on me recently that it could only be M&G because the other much smaller holder would have ran out by now with all these 500k's blocks last year and 250k's blocks this year etc etc

M&G have been the seller and that is what they have left and they have crossed it with a new buyer.

This should go nuts now, this has been stopping the shares rising for over 6 months

Agree but as you must know this has been going on for most if not all of 2022 so numerous 1% thresholds have been crossed and not a peep of a holding RNS so far.

Their is only three major shareholders. It won't be gupta, id imagine its one of the two funds that are selling.

It’s hard to imagine a more difficult trading period for OPG than the past 18 months or so when their two main input costs, coal and freight, jumped around 400% and 1000% respectively.

The fact that the government were willing to move the goalposts so that OPG could more or less breakeven despite these extenuating circumstances (albeit with a bit of coal profit taking mixed in), shows how necessary their energy production remains.

It seems only logical that, once these issues have abated, the government will be inclined to set the tariffs such that OPG can return to profitability and keep supplying much needed energy. Why wouldn’t they?

I think it’s possible that these factors have been overlooked by the market and there is a very good multi bag opportunity here just waiting to be snapped up.

250k worked sale the other day

250k buy on Asqe today so no doubt another 250k will show later.

I contacted Cenkos but they never got back to me about who the seller is and why they are not disclosing it

Noticed the buys keep coming and also the sells getting worked. Another 500k at 5.9p looked like a buy but was clearly another sale after a glut of buys near 6p

Annoying the seller is allowed to continue with updating the market with a holding RNS

Bit of a head scratcher given the stated goal of deleveraging the balance sheet. And that they have literally held onto the cash from the previous NCD and invested it into mutual funds at lower rates than they are paying.Will be interested to see what interest rates they get. The only upside I see is if they are locking in rates below current NCD rate and repaying the bank debt which is floating rate (see interims vs year end).

Looking to raise approximately £20M in debt again.
Should be proposing any buybacks if that is the case.
And what about monies raised from the solar asset, will that not be enough?
