Just reading up on this again So OPG £10m already put aside in the mutual fund The rest will be paid using cash and sale of solar asset was in the non-current portion of restricted cash (up GBP2.2 million) represented by investments in mutual funds and fixed deposits maturing after twelve months of GBP10.4 million (2021: GBP8.2 million) allocated to debenture redemption fund and OPG's strategic investment in Atsuya Technologies Private Limited totalling to GBP2.1 million (Rs. 210.0 million). The debenture redemption fund was created to repay the non-convertible debentures of GBP20.1 million (Rs. 2.0 billion) which are repayable in FY24.

Cos we own shares In the holding company not the operating company, they need to get it audited before they release them on LSE

I would expect some buybacks in the next year, or why get the authority? I agree dividends will wait, maybe 2024.

Don't see buybacks or dividends happening unless coal price collaspes

The solar assets will surely be sold as long as a sensible offer is made, I’ve said before they’re being treated as an asset for sale in the accounts. The rationale looks to be to complete finance for all debt repayments; use the surplus to buy back shares at an enormous discount to book value; and focus (for the moment at least) on maximizing profits from their principal asset which they fully control. Once these are done, next steps are to reinstate a dividend and consider renewables/hydrogen projects. But I doubt those are immediate priorities.

Question for me is

DO you think Co will do buybacks as planned now?

Can only see that if solar assets are sold

I wonder what the Gupta Family share price average is?

also

5 things I could see happening before the end of 2023 is

1) Solar assets sold and Debt fully paid off in addition to this we have about 15 Million in free cash flow once coal price settles down

2) They sell the power plant and purely focus on Renewable energy

or

3) They keep the power plant and remain using coal

or

4) They Keep the power plant but transform it in to a Green hydrogen plant

or

5) Sale of the company if its a fair offer

Ouch 375k sold at 6.512p just shows the liquidity though to get a quote for that size online.

Nobody want to claim that sale, I'm ok with anybody changing their mind, it's your money and you have to decide what to do with it?

Sadly Tim the whole market is a day trading frenzy atm.

I wish OPG would actually put their interims out, probably do well well people see how much money they made even with the poor second quarter.

It’s a longer term investment! No one should judge an investment on short term trading volatility.
