13/5/2019 09:43 | That is the only bit worth anything IMO The rest is a drag Anyone else see this ? buywell2 - 07 Apr 2015 - 15:39:55 - 1017 of 1775 Omega Diagnostics - ODX The chart needs good RNS news or else the current downtrend looks like it continues to 10p support level perhaps | buywell2
13/5/2019 09:38 | I believe that is on the cards for Food Intolerance. | arthur_lame_stocks
13/5/2019 07:51 | If they did care about shareholder value they would sell parts off to release value and return cash. | p1nkfish
11/5/2019 07:11 | Athur,Arthur,Arthur Personally I now feel I have become a phalempoisit , but not on my terms. Great news so far. , but personally need some value now. All very well being a charity, but this is a listed company after all | upomega
11/5/2019 01:38 | I think this is a great buying opportunity and bought a few more today. This is now my largest investment. I firmly believe Food Intolerance is worth more than the market cap on its own with the other two divisions thrown in for less than nothing, particularly with CD4 coming close to large scale commercialisation. I would draw your attention to the comment made at the time the strategic review was announced in 2018: "The need to demonstrate and crystallise value for shareholders over the short to medium term. There is a recognition of the challenges associated with this given the Board's belief that the sum of the individual parts at present may be substantially greater than the perceived value of the whole" The price was a few pence higher then and things have progressed well so I hope that substantially is even more substantial now. | arthur_lame_stocks
10/5/2019 17:11 | Also the timeline box on the Burnet Institute,s website for Visetect is blanked out.Which could indicate that they are in the process of updating Visitects progress. Hopefully also be a positive. | upomega
09/5/2019 21:06 | Thanks for that upomega, I noticed earlier this week that the website had been given a facelift and even looked at it again earlier this morning but the home page and products link looks the business, nothing appears to have changed yet with regard to the links appertaining to 'News & Events, Quality, Investor Relations and Contact' but it is encouraging that someone within Omega finally appears to have grasped the nettle that it isn't just about developing and bringing CD4 to the market, you also have to SELL it to the market! | hyperboreus
09/5/2019 18:56 | It looks like the website has been updated with an indication that Visetect cd4 advanced launches this month. This is excellent news inmo. Maybe we will get an RNS on this which should show the wider market that things are still on track. Also another positive is that the company has been taking on employees and are also still recruiting. | upomega
09/5/2019 09:53 | Barry my other thought on the recent sales is down to short selling by someone or somebodies. Looking at past sales they could have been traded on a T10-T20 and subsequently bought back yesterday as a block of 126/-. In my view this is only going carry on unless the company can produce some sort of positive news in the short term . Also did the company indicate to you how long they are in a closed period. This could also in one way or another bring matters to head in my opinion. | upomega
08/5/2019 20:58 | upomega, Investors sell for a variety of reasons, most see a better opportunity elsewhere. ODX is a slow burn, by year end we will know if CD4 is going to take off commercially...I am sure the company are just as disappointed with the share price as we are... | barrywhit
08/5/2019 20:29 | The reason I find recent sales a concern is that everything during the past year has been positive. ( The board has delivered ) so far. Together with what has been communicated via the company for the next twelve months then on the whole its very possitive. So my concern is why would any long term holder sell now. It just doesn't make sense. | upomega
08/5/2019 19:23 | Lets hope that,s a positive sign Barry | upomega
08/5/2019 19:16 | upomega, I think you will find the after hours trade at mid-price is probably a M/M to M/M trade, so they may be filling an order......but wtfdik..... | barrywhit
08/5/2019 18:57 | A late trade just showing 125/- traded at 10.6. My guess is this was traded this morning with the other sales. One thought is maybe a disgruntled ex employee drip feeding sales. As Barry mentioned we could all do with an update of major shareholders. Another way is to ask for a print out of all holdings at present. I am pretty sure the company/registrar has to comply, but there would be a charge .Personally I would be happy to split any cost with anyone if they are interested in obtaining this. | upomega
08/5/2019 17:54 | I hope your right about the reason on the price movement Barry > An update on the share register would be useful. I am tempted to get in touch with the registrars and check some holdings. You used to able to do this if you worked for a brokers , but as I am no longer in the industry they would probably charge for it, | upomega
08/5/2019 17:47 | upomega, I'm afraid without buyers the price will drop even on small sells as the mm's won't hold stock in a company like ODX that has such a small amount of trading generally, they will take in stock to fill orders only...imho Perhaps the Directors will surprise us when the closed period is finished...an updated share register would be good, so we could see if the deluge of selling is from a major holder or just fed up Private Investors... | barrywhit
08/5/2019 17:13 | looking at the size of the trades and timing I am more convinced than ever that this is being manipulated down. Equally what I found annoying is the lack of investment from the appointment of Jeremy Millard. The company mentioned that it was a long in depth search to find such a person. Well do they really think that such a person will add value when he couldn't even invest a thousand pounds of his own money on his appointment. A good example of how to show support for a company where you have been employed as an executive Director is Serica Energy. Malcolm Wood was appointed in November of last year and then subsequently invested in the open market a few days after his appointment. Now that's showing support together with sending out a positive message to shareholders. All inmo. | upomega
08/5/2019 12:40 | Going down again. Down, down, down | likitorma
03/5/2019 21:30 | We talk over the weekend, mate. Have a nice one, Upomega. | likitorma
03/5/2019 21:14 | Don't be lazy, Upomega :) | likitorma
03/5/2019 21:00 | Without me delving back through all their RNS.. Did they start to mention this before or during the investment of the two largest investors apart from legal and general | upomega
03/5/2019 20:54 | The thing is they have mentioned shareholder value way too many times now, without having anything to show for it in terms of share price. They have basically diluted (no punt intended) those terms. Actions speak louder. | likitorma |
