12/12/2019 07:31 | Not sure how many times I have to say it, but OCI is THE quality PE play on the London market, and deserves to (& will eventually IMO) trade at NAV. +26p to NAV should shoot it through the triple top previous highs. | spectoacc
12/12/2019 07:23 | There it is - adds 8 percent to nav | nimbo1
07/12/2019 14:48 | Excellent, thanks @Jeff H - will see what comes of it. | spectoacc
06/12/2019 20:25 | Aye and little movement on the TMO price. OCI going to break up and out methinks - TA might say "triple top and down" but TA is b*llocks ;) Not sure the GE will affect OCI either way. Safely ensconced abroad, and most holdings non-UK too. | spectoacc
05/12/2019 10:27 | veiled profit warning from TMO today but on track for profitability in 2020 | makinbuks
03/12/2019 08:51 | On the 18th of November.....could have told us earlier! | 1968jon
03/12/2019 07:21 | AVI crossed another % threshold, over 14% of OCI now. | spectoacc
29/11/2019 12:36 | Re :TMO I notice Richard Caring now has a sizeable stake which gives me much more confidence He knows his stuff New openings gathering pace but North America will always be challenging and you are years from profitability as they roll this concept out Still if they get sone traction there TMO could motor | panshanger1
28/11/2019 11:50 | Good point re TMO, have to admit it's not one I'm a massive fan of. If they pull it off they could do v well, but only seem to see large losses so far. | spectoacc
28/11/2019 10:25 | Quite a big holding in tmo would be nice to see a positive update from them on the new time out market openings in North America Due Feb I think | panshanger1
28/11/2019 10:10 | :) Not outlandish methinks - 23% rise in NAV last year (end-June) to 318p, expecting it to have risen again. The strong performance & growth deserves a rating nearer to NAV IMO, not a thumping discount. | spectoacc
28/11/2019 10:06 | Yes please :-) | cwa1
28/11/2019 09:51 | A couple of 6-figure trades yesterday but looked like cash-and-new's. Clearly not a lot of stock around tho, & I fancy a run to.... £3 ;) | spectoacc
19/11/2019 16:13 | Speaking of which I drafted an e-mail for a friend of my Mum's who wished to raise concerns over EDIN performance, not even an acknowledgement, let alone a reply. | essentialinvestor
19/11/2019 16:07 | Thanks @EI but - congratulate us when we sell ;) Still waiting for that Invesco Holdings RNS. | spectoacc
19/11/2019 15:47 | Congrats guys, should have snapped up another few last week, ... could, should, never, eh ). | essentialinvestor
19/11/2019 15:36 | From the level of buying, surely a Thommo tip update. | spectoacc
19/11/2019 12:08 | Good progress in recent days is continuing again as we are only 10p away from the shares high of 243p last seen in July. Up 2.65% on volume of 105000. | 888icb
19/11/2019 09:26 | On Thursday just over 5% of the stock traded including large trades at 220. The offer now is 233. I think RSP quotes at the moment are going to be wide and in small size. Maybe I was the lucky one but I have seen offers (months ago)in the intraday auction of 500k at the same price and being lowered for days at a time. The offers I referred to in my first post above were in 250k shares. (I didn't take them all, I hasten to add). I have been filled in decent sized bids in the closing auction numerous times. I completely accept your point though that if asking for a risk price you'll get a better deal for ICG (at the moment - wink!) | 1968jon
19/11/2019 09:26 | tried buying on BArclays platform but doesn't exist apparently. Any clues? | qs99
19/11/2019 09:06 | The liquidity of ICG Enterprise trust and Oakley are different - here I have struggled to buy £20k blocks (I've done 2x 10k shares this am). ICG enterprise trust you can happily trade blocks of £100k.... I have DMA through Interactive broker - maybe should be using that instead of HL, but wanted these in a SIPP! | nimbo1
19/11/2019 09:04 | Specto - I remember that one well - as I only recently sold out Let's hope for similar here eh? | joe say
19/11/2019 09:03 | I think the liquidity of both is similar. I like ICG and being able to interact with the order book but the algos that frequently go better bid than me by 2p for a handful of shares annoy me. Equally, you will see algos hitting a bid in small size repeatedly. In OCI I only use the intraday auctions. Doesn't mean I always get the stock I want. If you don't have access to a user-friendly market-maker, in these names I think you need a combination of patience and luck! | 1968jon
19/11/2019 08:47 | Icg enterprise trust also looks like a good idea. And it’s liquid. Here I haven’t been able to buy more than 10k shares which means its illiquid despite the seemingly huge transactions going through! | nimbo1 |
