I think it was a recommendation from ST a few years ago that led me to invest. I am very pleased with how it turned out and continues to do so.

Given the other large trades yesterday - including trades totalling over 1m shares reported after the close (like the 100k 270p trade) - I wonder if other directors were involved? Well, one in particular!

Laurence Blackall, a Non-Executive Director of the Company, has purchased 100,000 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 270.0 pence per Ordinary Share. As a result, Mr. Blackall is now interested in 400,000 Ordinary Shares of the Company, representing 0.201 per cent. of the issued share capital.

Ha ha maybe - tho 345p NAV what I expected. Interesting that currency had a 14p negative effect, which can as easily unwind.

OCI's consistently huge returns have got to deserve trading at par eventually IMO.

To be honest it was less about taking a profit here and more about just reducing some market exposure. Still holding plenty :)

I sold some stock specto - about 35k shares in total - its quite illiquid (so nothing to worry about!). No reason why really - still have a decent holding here....after the run of the last few months just wanted to reduce some exposure.

Finally got round to the MoneyWeek tip from over Xmas - read pretty well, albeit more like a tip for TMO than OCI!

Main thing I thought was the point that OCI was the best-performing PE IT last year - yet trades on one of the largest discounts .

Yes good to see the company itself and the directors willing to step in and support the market. Also highlights what a risk it can be having too high a % held by a single shareholder

Invesco down to 11%, having sold 8% in that latest flurry. Can imagine we'll need them out before we finally move up towards full NAV, but impressive that 8% of the co could be slotted like that.
