country boy I agree with you, I have always had 2012 as my target date for selling, I think it will take till then to get the best price for these, I might be wrong, but this will be a nice boost when I need it to increase my pension. Good luck to all the patient holders.

as only last October the directors of OAK acquired shares for 68p at today's price of around 45p they must be a cheap buy. Even at 68p a share the directors put their money into this investment so clearly they seek a great future ahead for the company which I intend holding to coincide with the Olympic games in 2012 when this clever development will come into its own.

ghbg I was told it varies as to what you are allowed to buy so i waited till somebody got 2000 for the offer price then i followed with the same request and was succesful. Cant gaurantee it will always work though. Did notice yesterday afternoon that the spread was down to 6.7%!

I tried to get 500 and can't get a firm price - then offered to sell 10,000 and was offered 42.35p? Did neither in the end.

Either way, the sell price is now above what I paid for my 'float'.

Somebody has just paid 6p over the offer price for 10,000 shares - wonder if they knew how much they were paying or if they just left it to the market.

Good call gbb, its looking more and more like its reached the bottom now. Nice and steady climbing and it doesnt take large volumes to move the price a few pence, pretty much on every purchase its a up a few pence - looking good now. If it continues higher (into the 45 - 50 range) then drops back it could find support at 40p, and if we get that it could be the launching block for a steady climb. The alternative would be for it to stop here then drop back to the early 30's, in which case it will be top-up time! (If it drops back to 40 and i can buy for no more than i have aleady paid then i may still top-up a bit).

I bought on the previous bounce (a bit early), but at least the buy price is now above what I paid.

Just the one gbb, if they dip i will probably buy more but a bit reluctant otherwise because of the speed this moves, the spread, and the delays and lack of news flow. At least if it does carry on i wont be able to kick myself, because i have some now.

Ivan - Glad to hear your are looking after the important people, as an electrician myself.

Finally bought some today but only a quarter of what i wanted. If i buy 3 more lots i think it will cost me more than if i had paid 45 for then 2 days ago. Beginning to wish i had now...at least ive got some though. If it dips will definetely buy more, have a feeling it might not though!!

It might be good to buy them in small amounts then, I doubt there are many shares available anyway, and now we have the permisions and land and 250 year lease, everyone can see this is now much more of a possitive bet than it was before. I would not be wanting to sell any of mine at present. If there are none available to buy, once the diggers start and the tenants are on board, our shares will be even more sought after. good luck to all.

Im hoping you are right sanroc, tried buying this morning and could not buy over 500 without paying a premium, could have sold 10,000 for a good price though - they want your shares. The amount I was trying to buy they wanted 45p (offer was 37). Every time I put the order in the price moves up!! This might actually slow the buying down and maybe drop the price back a bit - especially if it all goes quite again for a while.

Graham I think you might be right about the price might drop back a bit again, as many people will take a bit of profit, waiting for the next news might be a bit too much for some people, but I am very happy that things are going the right way, this is going to be a slow process, but by 2012 we could all be sitting on a very sizable profit. I think this is a great price for bargain hunters. good luck to all.

Given the 'credit crunch', there's bound to be some knock on effect (which will be why the share price has dropped, and is still, 50% down on 3½ months ago). So don't be surprised if an announcement arrives in the late future.

What will be interesting now are the potential tenants. OAH have said in the past that there were some major hotel operators interested in both the hotel options at YES!. Hopefully there will be some announcement re tenant commitment in the near future.

Yes(!) it is, but registration is free at www.propertyweek.com as I've no doubt you've checked.

Anyway, I've removed the article but kept the link to the R website.
Thanks for your concern.

Rotherham Council seems to be very forward-looking.
An article in Property Week doesn't mention Yes! but might be relevant. (No link given, as subscriber-only.)

Im a bit miffed, tried buying a load this afternoon, put a limit on it at 35p as that was the quoted buy price, pressed buy, flicked back to the live price to see it had ticked up another 2p!! Didnt get the price and buy order failed. Might try again monday morning and may just have to settle for 37p. Little bit of a gamble still but want to get in early as poss. due to the size of the spread. Im still not convinced it wont head back down again though, but gut feeling is saying its a good time and every time I dont listen to gut feeling i lose out, often big time. So fingers crossed for Monday morning, have a good weekend everybody.
