22/2/2008 16:29 | At long bloody last!! Double bottom on the chart too.... | amorruso
22/2/2008 16:04 | slowly slowly catchee monkee! Give OAK two years then all you penny investors could make a killing. What concerns me is the country's economy but that ought not prevent investing in a major project which will create jobs and enhance the economy of Rotherham and district. By 2012 when the Olympics come to Britain this development should be fully on stream and those investors will benefit accordingly. Don't keep looking into the crystal ball keep to facts and back the TEAM at Oak. Petty sellers can do us all a good turn by investing elsewhere. What an exciting scheme we are all supporting and lets enjoy the ride. Date of arrival: 2012 | countryboy2
22/2/2008 14:01 | well what good news today, I am so pleased that we hung on to these, now we will have something to go to the banks with. I have always had a very long term view of this share and now planning agreement has been granted, I can only see positive future ahead. It might be slow, but once the diggers get on site, this will start to move big time. Good luck to all | sanroc32
22/2/2008 13:59 | Ivan, they dont wear tin hats on building sites, they are made of plastic. You are thinking of world war 1. | grahamcm
22/2/2008 08:32 | Most property companies are trading at a 40-50% discount to net assets at present. That currently seems to apply to OAH as well. The Opinion of Value needs to be addressed by the Company. | ghbg
22/2/2008 08:19 | It hasn't had much effect on the share price :-( | gbb483
22/2/2008 08:10 | Your comment appears to be ten hours ahead of the announcement! Still no news on the opinion of value or funding. | ghbg
22/2/2008 07:15 | ghbg- re agreement great day for oak | ivanaustin
21/2/2008 21:21 | Ivan - what does that mean? | ghbg
21/2/2008 20:24 | WORK BOOTS TIN HATS ON THE WAY UP NORTH. | ivanaustin
20/2/2008 08:37 | That's the beauty of such terms - they can mean whatever you want them to! | gbb483
20/2/2008 07:30 | But bear in mind that the development agreement was expected to be signed "shortly" at the time of the interims announcement in July 07 and "soon" at the time of the issue of equity in October 07. | ghbg
20/2/2008 06:46 | Maybe not but it certainly seems a step in the right direction and it may result in a halt in the share price decline. | grahamcm
19/2/2008 08:53 | Heads of Terms and Development Agreement and Lease are not signed yet - until an announcement is made by Oak we do not know what is happening - other than the approval to the Heads of Terms (which is not the final Development Agreement and Lease). | ghbg
18/2/2008 16:59 | Yipee, about time eh? one day we might be back in profit! good luck to all | sanroc32
18/2/2008 15:42 | So is it looking like weve hit bottom, and is it all up from here? | grahamcm
18/2/2008 15:22 | Re: The RMBC Cabinet meeting of 13 February. Whilst the agenda had documents marked as private for discussing the YES project, the minutes of that section of the meeting don't appear to have been : THE YES PROJECT - HEADS OF TERMS AND DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT The Leader introduced a report by the Strategic Director of Environment and Development Services, which asked for approval of the Heads of Terms reported and the proposal to complete a Development Agreement and Lease for the land at Pithouse West, Beighton. Details about the progress of negotiations in relation to the Revised Heads of Terms and the additional provisions inserted, legal and financial positions and the risk and uncertainty information were provided as part of the report. This included the independent views of the District Valuer. Cabinet Members welcomed the finalisation of the arrangements and looked forward to the early development of this project. Resolved:- That the Heads of Terms as reported be approved. From Google Heads of terms (also known as letters of intent, memoranda of understanding or heads of agreement) set out the terms of a commercial transaction. | gbb483
18/2/2008 11:48 | Two of the Directors have guaranteed the existing £250K facility on the land so they are personally "on the hook" so to speak. The land forms the entrance to the site. Therefore a best guess is that it is a fair bet that the remaining £750K can be secured or obtained. As the land is crucial to the development and constitutes the main entrance and accessway to the YES scheme and as it is in (will be in) Oak's ownership then it will presumably preclude any one else undertaking the development. | ghbg
18/2/2008 09:59 | Graham if it had been a bad outcome from the meeting, I would have hoped the management would have made an anouncement, so I am still holding on for news, good or bad. Good luck to all. | sanroc32
18/2/2008 06:30 | Maybe not a good outcome from the meeting then if the price drop is anything to go by? They also have to find another £750k to complete the purchase of the 27 acre site of access land by the end of March. Again no news on this front the nearer we get to the deadline is not going to support the share price. Are we looking at 20p by the end of march? Profits from the warrants are looking a long way of now. | grahamcm
14/2/2008 11:20 | RMBC Cabinet met yesterday and YES development agreement was on agenda - documents marked as private - check Cabinet agenda for meeting of 13 February on RMBC website. | ghbg
13/2/2008 21:24 | I'm beginning to think this might be the bottom, dont know if im brave enough to buy back in though, as you say it will probably be a long....long drawn out affair! | grahamcm
03/1/2008 15:25 | I suspect its either the dead cat, or it's oversold - either way I suspect a recovery will be a long drawn out affair. | gbb483
03/1/2008 14:19 | Has it been tipped somewhere or are we due an announcement. | longtech
03/1/2008 13:11 | Well buying pressure is continuing. | gbb483 |
