actually those results were pretty dreadful take away the sale of that business and there was nothing there.

still a good business in normal market conditions

no worries, use it as an opportunity to add a few more. When the market starts to recover and more companies decide the time is right to float this will be a good bet

How the AFX headline of "outlook uncertain" is arrived at seems totally unfair when you look at the results report, and when you could say the same for almost any company in even the most favourable market condition.

Excellent results but beggars belief that the market still doesn't want to know. Difficult to know what more the company can do. Strong growth, low P/E, good yield, lots of cash.....maybe takeover target?

Also good outlook:

"Since the year end, we have added 8
new corporate clients and are well placed to increase this during the coming
year. We are determined to grow the business organically in a contracyclical
fashion. We will exploit the volatility in the market to attract clients and
staff to Numis and continue to build our franchise and create long-term value
for our shareholders".

Summary:
" * A very good performance with total revenue up 21% to #87.6m (2006:
#72.2m).


* Profit before tax and before non-recurring property costs up 13% to
#40.3m (2006: #35.8m), profit before tax after non-recurring costs up 9% to
#38.8m (2006: #35.7m).


* Basic earnings per share before non-recurring property costs up 13% to
28.6p (2006: 25.4p).


* Final dividend of 5.0p per share, making a total of 7.0p per share
(2006: 5.0p per share) for the year, up 40%.


* Strong balance sheet with net assets increased by 16% to #109.0m (2006:
#93.6m) and cash balances by 5% to #78.4m (2006: #74.9m).


* Total dividend and stock purchase returns to shareholders up 57% to
#16.2m (2006: #10.3m)

Looks even better value at current price, work out PE for yourself and see, and has good cash balances!

Results look solid. Nice divi hike, low P/E and continuing good earnings growth expected. But the market continues to underrate these, like so many UK stocks.

AIM (EPIC: AAZ) ("Admission") following the successful placing of 26m shares at
77p to raise #20m. Anglo-Suisse Capital Limited is the financial adviser and
Numis Securities Limited is acting as broker and nominated adviser to the
Company. The placing was more than twice over subscribed at the placing price.

This is how Good NUMIS are Copper goes from US$0.75 to US$4.00 per Pound, African Copper goes from 0.77p to 0.38p and is still below IPO Price.
