23/6/2005 16:15 | somethings going on here - huge spread yesterday and still went up, quite a large spread today but a mark up to start. | user
22/6/2005 08:56 | up again despite the huge spread. | user
21/6/2005 10:41 | looking good again | user
07/6/2005 10:32 | oh, and miners welcome | user
07/6/2005 10:32 | a very under discussed share with a lot of potential | user
03/6/2005 15:12 | mms must be desperately short of shares, tiny buys causing movement | user
03/6/2005 13:05 | I think you've made a good investment. ANyone buying at the recent 160p level has got a bargain in my view. | stevemarkus
03/6/2005 10:32 | Siskin, after reading up a bit on this I decided to get a few. The thing that caught my eye was their emphasis on keeping good staff - essential in the business they are in I would think. I'm not a short term player and envisage keeping these for a couple of years. | user
02/6/2005 22:54 | user Yes I'm lurking and reading this. I hold and am pleased with this share's performance, although I'm not sure what has caused the recent fall from the highs - I assume it is just general market nervousness, esp re smallcaps. So it has been good to see a bit of a recovery in recent days. I view this as a long term hold (I bought at 105p) and still have a reasonable amount of confidence in its potential - although of course it's always tempting to take profits! What do others think? | siskinbird
02/6/2005 12:53 | not much activity on this board - anyone reading this? | user
12/5/2005 16:02 | yes, but you can only realise that value by selling, and if I do that I'll incur CGT - need to hold for a couple more years to make it worthwhile. | stevemarkus
12/5/2005 14:59 | steve But if they are exempt it adds generally to their value. | raxzi
12/5/2005 12:37 | I'm not planning on anyone inheriting any of my Numis shares for some considerable time... so less of an advantage personally .... | stevemarkus
12/5/2005 10:56 | The upside of AIM stocks is that with the exception of financials (I'm not sure therefore how Numis stands) they receive exemption from IHT liability. | raxzi
10/5/2005 17:29 | Yes, I would think so. They dropped lower than this a couple of weeks ago from memory, down to about 176p, but very quickly bounced back to 190+. Remember there was bid interest some time ago, the strong cash position, office opened in New York, and continuing market activity and growth in client base. All looks highly attractive to me, and when you factor in the expected P/E as well, the conclusion has to be yes, a buy. Shame it is an AIM stock, as I already have quite a few of these and would add if it were ISA'able. | stevemarkus
10/5/2005 15:42 | steve Even cheaper now. Worth adding to should they fall another 10p? | raxzi
05/5/2005 11:53 | What, 26M cash, and from memory roughly 9p eps at the halfway point. Yes... and looking pretty reasonably priced from where I'm sitting. | stevemarkus
04/5/2005 22:49 | Is there anybody there????????????? Nice-looking results today - but are they good enough to sustain this growth? Any views? | siskinbird
09/3/2005 16:57 | one of IC's stock picks for 2005 and i couldn't agree more. Watch this space! | meshiey
14/10/2004 11:57 | Magic, Majic! ;o) | lafiamma
13/10/2004 20:13 | how big will the retrace be tommorrow? | majic
13/10/2004 08:29 | Bidder probably only offered 750p - management likely believe that in a couple of years the shares will be £12 and they will then sell out for £15 - why leave half the value on the table now as the UK swings out of a bear market and the IPO flow starts to recover! - while seeing the shares at 750p would have been nice, at least this way we get to play a greater upside before they sell out. Also underpins the shares at around 600p i suspect | melville28
13/10/2004 07:17 | turned away a bidder then | latestarter |
