16/2/2020 12:14 | Even at £1.50, the valuation is already pricing in a lot of negative sentiment. In NBI trades on around 1.1x book – compared to the plant hire sector at 2.2x. Significant upside if the group can return to c. 15% ROCEs. Time to be patient | brummy_git
16/2/2020 11:16 | jacktrublu...profile created 02.12.17, first post 02.12.17, only ever posted 12 times and only on NBI, consistently negative....agenda? | gleach23
16/2/2020 08:18 | Let Shareholders use their powers to go over emoluments, severance clauses and look at the past responsibility chain or lack of it, and then decide, not only should Eric Hook go but Ian Gardner and Peter Harris too ! A case of "the old school tie" in play here, to shareholder detriment, the company was extremely lucky it did not collapse. | jacktrublu
12/2/2020 08:30 | Hook been here too long, a case being able to lie back, chiefs who get too comfortable avoid scrutiny, it’s time someone else came in and had a good look under the bonnet within this company. In most businesses with this company’s recent history Hook would have been ejected, time he hung up his spurs or was requested to do likewise! | bookbroker
12/2/2020 08:19 | Management needs to sharpen up some. | jacktrublu
11/2/2020 17:23 | jack, Midas in the Mail tipped it , and it was a good tip. Unfortunately nobody seemed to realise how dependent on the oil and gas industry they were. Management were complacent in not widening their horizons when the going was good. now that they are diversifying into renewables and data centres they will have a better spread of customers. Hopefully the company will include a breakdown of the different sectors when they report. | roddiemac2
11/2/2020 08:53 | Natural gas their deal in the main, but contracts in place, along with growing data centre side! Don’t think short term issues a factor, but down the line who knows! | bookbroker
11/2/2020 08:48 | Is there a risk of a significant drop of in demand if the oil price remains subdued in the wake of coronavirus? | otemple3
10/2/2020 23:23 | Thanks to you Roddie, yes one only has to look at the charts, also I had heard media hyped it up some too, some years back, that bites two ways. | jacktrublu
09/2/2020 19:15 | Have a look on twitter under #nbi. Plenty of useful info | brummy_git
09/2/2020 18:41 | jack, The company disappointed badly in the past. Investors with long memories will be wary. The shares went from £5 to £1 five years ago. Management were guilty of being too dependent on one area of business .It will take consistently good news to shift the shares upwards. | roddiemac2
09/2/2020 07:33 | With all the positive news share prices should be higher surely !! | jacktrublu
06/2/2020 17:54 | After the recent positive trading report, updated research note from Equity Development is out. Reaffirms optimistic outlook and lowly rating for the shares trading at 156p versus unchanged fair value of 204p/share Full note freely accessible here: | edmonda

07/1/2020 20:47 | This could be undervalued if the current level of utilisation shows a material improvement, the benefit of operational gearing! | bookbroker |
