25/4/2017 21:37 | ..yep..a useful warning or reminder to us all how things can change at any company doing well...( 2-3 yrs ago now) | smithie6
25/4/2017 21:25 | Awful results. Definitely value to be had. Turnover is much lower than any of us expected a few years back. Not tempted back. Hold enough indirectly through WSE. | topvest
25/4/2017 10:28 | This would be likely be a nice little bolt on acquisition for a larger concern in the oil and gas business, strong net tangible assets! | bookbroker
25/4/2017 10:25 | To be expected Smithie, they have stabilised the business, it is at least generating cash, the bulk of the losses relate to late 2015, early 2016, this will come back, it is fundamentally a good business, simply low demand! | bookbroker
25/4/2017 10:00 | ...glad I kept away... The oil division having a very bad time....with little use of the kit vs the boom yrs. And load bank sales also low. Too much blah blah spin in the results imo. | smithie6
12/4/2017 10:13 | Rock and Roll! | bookbroker
12/4/2017 09:34 | Rock and Roll! | bookbroker
26/3/2017 17:21 | ...interesting political question.... If Asia offers 1000$/ Xm3 & Auz electricity generators only offer 500$ then is it fair for gas cos. to export it but then parts of Auz phps suffer power cuts ? ( surely the Govt just needs to impose bigger fines for power cuts....& electricity cos will be forced to produce more electricity to avoid cuts...if needed paying more for buying gas to achieve that & phps a law to allow to block exports short term if those m3 are needed to avoid power cuts...) (The gas is produced...just that a lot is being shipped to Asia) | smithie6
15/3/2017 09:05 | There is a shortage of gas in Australia to generate electricity. A lot of gas has been found, with help from Tasman Oils, NBI subsidiary. Australian government saying that too much gas is being exported.Surely the answer is to engage Tasman oil and find more gas. Drill baby drill. | countryman5
09/3/2017 06:59 | Then they need to import more! | bookbroker
09/3/2017 02:58 | Reports in Australian press about shortage of gas in Western Australia. | countryman5
26/1/2017 10:26 | Taken a first position in this, attracted by the chart. Has this simply been a casualty of the falling PoO, like Lamprell? How do you assess its prospects now? I also hold Lamprell, which is cash rich, but had a recently rather indifferent TU. | brucie5
12/1/2017 12:26 | getting a little traction here | runwaypaul
10/1/2017 13:00 | No reward without risk. | tromso1
10/1/2017 12:56 | note illiquidity can cause sharp movements both ways! | loveandmoney1
09/1/2017 10:04 | Only 25.9 million shares so continued buying and this will shift pretty quickly back upwards imo. | tromso1
09/1/2017 10:01 | looking strong again I agree | qs99
09/1/2017 09:56 | Very good looking chart with that wide flat base. Plenty of upside from here. | tromso1
07/1/2017 19:26 | Still a long way back to reinstating the dividend let alone getting anywhere near where it was previously. | topvest
07/1/2017 15:07 | ...and missed opportunities..... | runwaypaul
07/1/2017 11:55 | ..but on the other hand ! ..if Auz dollar strengthens then Auz oil sector gets hit hard... ....well, I guess in the stk mkt there are always risks.... | smithie6
07/1/2017 08:25 | NBI had c 17.5m shares in nov 2013 to june 2014 when it traded between 300-400p.it then traded up to @500p after the 'major dilatory'rights issue placing in April 2016 it now has c 26.5m shares deducting@33% for the extra stock could target 200-300p in the short term, with a top out target of @365 judging by how illiquid and fast it can move as witnessed...200p could come in one sitting! | runwaypaul |
