24/1/2013 08:48 | Well I never. A quote from Abu Dhabi capital man. But I suppose it's one to take with a pinch of salt. What the articles have in common is bland assumption ABCM will win the day-or have done so already. At 96p. It's enough to make one nervous. Well posted Tellarian. | dupree
24/1/2013 08:27 | As always balanced reporting: | tellarian
23/1/2013 11:59 | ANOTHER 50K PICKED BY OUR BIG BUYER, PAYING ABOVE OFFER PRICE. SAMI, AGREE LET SPADILLE TAKE US OUT AT £1.20+. BE DONE WITH IT. EVERYONE HERE IS KEEN TO MOVE THEIR MONEY ONTO GKP, CEY, CZA AND AGL. COULDN'T HELP THE RAMPING. THATS WHERE I AM. | noddy31
23/1/2013 11:26 | Could be. Still possible that ken's backer was/is another party as damac made their announcement on their own not through kens vehicle. The real oddity is klas and al rafi selling at 96. Maybe there is a lot of bad blood between the various parties. If damac are serious about buying it it seems a very curious strategy to let a competitior buy nearly 50 percent first! Looks more like a strategy to let them get in too deep by splashing out 16 million and then playing the spoiling card and getting one over on klas and al rafi at same time. Pure speculation of course! | daneswooddynamo
23/1/2013 11:20 | Come on spadille - just pay £1.20 for the rest of the outstanding shares of around 13M shares and you've only paid 3M more than you wanted to... can't be that hard... Good deal for everyone.. | sami69
23/1/2013 11:16 | danes, It could easily be the other way, KM was to make an offer at 96p and had MEP (DAMAC) on board, Spadille or ADCM trump that with a bid of their own and a 10% loan note option. This has forced DAMAC into announcing their own possible offer (late), Spadille haven't announced 50% yet are they hanging on to sell to DAMAC (who with MEP seem to be the more obvious buyer of a property Company). Trout. | troutisout
23/1/2013 11:12 | Dont know about hot buzzing phone lines, coomunication via slow Arab dhow on the face of it. | fireplace22
23/1/2013 11:10 | Indeed. Shouldnt think they are having too much trouble disclosing the price they want spadille to pay! | daneswooddynamo
23/1/2013 11:04 | The drying up of RNSs is a little odd, there must have been some holders over 1% trade recently. DAMAC were never good at disclosing. | troutisout
23/1/2013 10:36 | i'll bet the phone lines between damac and the abu dhabi posse have been buzzing... | brando69
23/1/2013 07:53 | Thanks trout I'll use that when I really want to know | dupree
22/1/2013 18:46 | well thats a big trade reported late. Why do some trades get reported late, that is what the 'L' means isn't it? Seems like someone in a hurry for their money, not waiting around for the 96p. | dupree
22/1/2013 17:14 | probably klas buying a few back! | daneswooddynamo
22/1/2013 17:09 | i'd say it is a gamble if it is by someone who is not in the know... downside 5p, but upside might only be 5p... unless you know that the upside is much more... | brando69
22/1/2013 17:04 | i make that in round numbers 110k shares bougyt and 98k shares sold. It's not such a big gamble, with a bid on table at 96p- you only have to think it'll probably go up and probably by more than 5 pence, and be able to afford the 5% hit if it goes down...good to see some action anyway! it does look exactly like the little fellas who are selling down some and the bigger players who are buying- there are no small buys are there? That all seems positive. | dupree
22/1/2013 16:55 | El ploto doth thicken... Nothing if not entertaining... Looks like we're heading NORTH with an ACRE or two to run yet... | brando69
22/1/2013 16:25 | must be...that a £5k loss if wrong | jamie62
22/1/2013 16:21 | Now 60K at £1.01. A lot of money to gamble, surely someone in know! | blondviking
22/1/2013 15:37 | oops I think that I read that wrong- buy 25,000 at 100p became buy 25,000 at 101p a little later on | dupree
22/1/2013 15:30 | the actual spread by trades is down to 98p and 100p which is a contrast to the sticky patches we've hit of the spread heading towards a whole fivepence. better for both buyers and sellers than it was att breakfast time | dupree
22/1/2013 15:02 | All quiet on the Western Front. But a lot going on behind the scenes I warrant. Glad I didn't sell. | philjeans
22/1/2013 14:30 | bid ticking up 101/98 | brando69
22/1/2013 12:36 | Damac rns today? | brando69 |
