It appears production will commence very shortly
If you look at the company website for namibia construction
Namibleadzinc.com you will see the latest updates including a
Report put on yesterday
I am really encouraged by the way the company is keeping to its time frame and with the zinc price moving up there is going to be great interest in the company

Have seen a couple of articles this week saying "The Namib Lead and Zinc mine near Swakopmund is set to start production soon"

Not sure if this site accepts url posts but if you google 'mixed results for Nam's mining sector' you'll find the southerntimesafrica article.

Must be time for another update from NRRP.

Just posted on the website are photos and construction update which makes good reading with over 100 contractors on site
When you compare with some AIM companies with no license and a hole in the ground we look in a great situation with production nearing

I expect the asset/company to be sold sometime in H1 2019 assuming that it gets into production in Q1.

I really don't know but have not thought about it. I keep mine at broker and hope to sell in 12 to 18 minths for.......

I do not believe they anticipate on making expenses etc on the relisting. Then they would slso need to inform the market more. Knowing tbe Greenstones that is not likely to happen. But who knows!

Pretty much my reading of the proposal. I have not quite got to understand the 'subscription' part - thought these had a date for conversion but can't find one in the documentation.
Dilution for start-up was always a given - pity there had to be so much 'unnecessary' dilution while we waited for the licence and they messed around drilling, not very successfully.
No news of YT.

I'm not planning to attend the meeting.

For what it's worth my take on the proposal is that it's better than I was fearing: CL Ventures are paying approx 20p for each of their shares.

There are also loans being taken from CL Ventures & Greenstone totalling $14.7m at an interest rate of 15% per year.

My calculations suggest that, as a result of the new shares, we're getting diluted by approx 51.5%.

CL Ventures & Greenstone will both have shareholdings of 44% in SLE, leaving 12% held by others.

The bit on page 8 of the prospectus saying "if any of the Resolutions are not passed ... in all likelihood it would result in ... liquidation of the Group resulting in shareholders losing their investment ..." is a bit of a red-herring given that Greenstone currently has 75%+ of the shares and the prospectus says that they'll vote in favour.

Given what's happened over the last 2 or 3 years, this proposal looks to me (IMHO) about as good as we could have hoped for.

The show is still on the road!

While I doubt that I'll get back what I've put in - my average, post consolidation, is £1.06 - the price of 20p being paid by CL for the new shares is considerably closer to that than the 3.5p price indicated on Asset Match. CL will have done extensive due diligence etc so they'll be expecting a good return on their shares.

It wouldn't surprise me if the mine is sold to the Chinese in years to come.

New General Meeting for March 6. Anyone understand the 'deal' being offered? Anyone going to attend? All resolutions will be approved anyway as the big boys 'Greenstone' are on board trying to get the mine up and running to recover some of the long lost investment - like the rest of us.
