05/9/2017 19:24 | Hi Carter, yep here and III. Don't keep your breath in the mean time! Have a look at BlueJay. That might be a better bet than NRR now. Jay might just have found a licence to print money. Billions of it. DOYR. I have a large holding in Jay. MM | moreminer
05/9/2017 18:54 | Thanks MM Will you post if you here something? Ps is it worth topping up at these prices ?? ATB | carter1110
05/9/2017 17:29 | Yes, the board is trying to get the resource up-tick before the new finance round. That does make sence. Still some miles to make before we can get any positive news from here. MM | moreminer
05/9/2017 17:11 | not sure whether anyone has seen the latest on assetmatch with there being a buy order along with the three selling orders Interesting that someone is willing to purchase shares, all be it lower than the closing price Does anyone have any thoughts or has heard anything ?? | carter1110
24/8/2017 08:33 | Thanks Rosie, So lets hope that the management is able to get the resource upgrade significantly higher before another funding is needed. That is their plan anyway. Perhaps in a year or two we can see some return of our investment. MM | moreminer

25/6/2017 18:20 | Hi Carter, I get notifications from asset match & also from ADVFN when there are posts on the timeline thread. Have just read the last few. I am not aware of what is going on at North River. I can look at what's what whenever you want, you can also use the messaging function as well. Regards YT | yellowthroat
24/6/2017 22:30 | All Has anyone heard any further news since the announcement?? | carter1110
13/6/2017 20:56 | Hi Crunch Yes I am with you and I too held onto my shares with a 90 odd percentage loss. Just checked the web site and they have updated the award of the licence !!! Let's see what happens now !! | carter1110
13/6/2017 20:35 | My take is that those like me - who are still in, probably stupidly! - might as well stay in given the pathetic fraction left of original investment. Probably best hope is get some funding, debt? equity? and get some production. Or maybe Greenstone will take the company over. Personally I have zero faith in the management after the "let's spend everything despite the lack of licence" tactics over the last 2 years. Namibian politics also largely responsible for the sorry state of affairs which will likely largely destroy foreign inward investment. | crunch123
13/6/2017 20:30 | Hi YT Good to hear from you, I hoped you would see what had happened I spoke with TDI who have had a few people enquire re asset match, they told me today that they would not be getting involved in trading with those who are still holding shares. The options are to withdraw which will be free of charge and a certificate will be issued, you then have your shares in a certificated form.personally I cannot think of a reason to pay them for managing the shares when they are not willing to do anything with them. I've had a look at the Share centre and you can enlist your certificate with them and tell them what you want to do I.e sell at the next auction or even buy (at a cost) I think I am going to with draw from TDI and hold the shares in a certificated form. I am sure there is a AGM on Thursday 15th, are they still holding it. There is no update on the nrrp site as the London office has been closed, I am not sure whether they will be updating I imagine that it will take some time to put things in place however once they do, will result in good things. I still believe in this company, we just need some help now we have the long awaited licence !!!!! I imagine they want to get on with it as the licence I think is 10 years, I am not sure of the mine life, was it around 5-7 years ?? Any way would be good to hear from you again ATB | carter1110
13/6/2017 20:11 | ""the Company appointed Asset Match to facilitate trading in the Ordinary Shares. Asset Match is a firm authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and operates an electronic off-market dealing facility for the Ordinary Shares. This facility allows Shareholders to trade their Ordinary Shares on a matched bargain at an arm’s length basis via periodic auctions. Shareholders will continue to be able to hold their shares in uncertificated form (i.e. in CREST) and should check with their existing stockbroker that they are able to trade in unquoted shares. The matched bargain trading facility operates under its own code of practice which governs the behaviour of participants and the running of the actions. Further information can be found at www.assetmatch.com. However, Shareholders should note that even with such a trading service, there is no public market or trading facility on any recognised investment exchange for the Ordinary Shares and, accordingly, the opportunity for Shareholders to realise their investment in the Company will be much more limited."" ------ Ask your broker if in live auctions you can trade using the above. It says opportunity to realise your investment is limited. Ask your broker. NB : It says a number of ppl resigned but James Beams is now the chairman. YT | yellowthroat
13/6/2017 19:57 | Just caught up with 'Asset Match' & just seen the news. So they have been granted the mining licence not long after taking the company from AIM ! What ! Steve talking about it could have been granted long ago, but have the company folded on certain aspects of the demands so that they have to give up significant amounts of the royalties, equity and profits going forward ? What are the terms of the licence grant ? I haven't looked at the companies website and I assume no need for any announcement on RNS because they are not public ? Did they suck eggs or what is the story ? Have the government seen sense and finally relented on onerous stipulations ? Is this an alleged stitch up of small shareholders or what do we think happened ? NB : I have no idea. Regards YT | yellowthroat
10/6/2017 18:41 | Yes I totally agree, however would be good to get the thoughts of the more experienced posters like Steve239 and yellow throat, they said they would look in on the posting every now and again I'll post when I hear from TDI next week | carter1110
10/6/2017 17:38 | Thanks Carter for info. If we continue to hold long term, having held on this long, and the project goes ahead, presumably it would be a good idea to hold for potential dividends/capital appreciation?? Your opinions much appreciated. | rosievdb
10/6/2017 17:37 | Thanks Carter for info. If we continue to hold long term, having held on this long, and the project goes ahead, presumably it would be a good idea to hold for potential dividends/capital appreciation?? Your opinions much appreciated. | rosievdb
10/6/2017 16:49 | Rosiedvd I've made contact with TDI who said they have had a couple of enquiries re what to do with our shares etc... I've been told to ring back on Monday where someone will advise. Assetmatch are still having an auction so in theory should still be able to trade. We should still be able to benefit I imagine | carter1110
10/6/2017 14:58 | Sorry iPad misbehaving, is there any reason should the project go ahead that we small holders won't benefit | rosievdb
10/6/2017 14:57 | Hi, I still hold all my shares here. If they go ahead with the project is there any reason that we small holders won't benefit? | rosievdb |
