Surprised to see it back down at 6.0-6.5 this morning. I put an order in for a top up which has been partially dealt and looks to have bumped the Offer back up to 7p so at least there seems to be a scarcity of available stock down here.

Interims next month.

By the way it's not the 46 shares that have been reported this morning lol. Looks like they have filled 25k but it's not been printed yet.

What`s the betting all that is happening now was planned even before our Mr Searle took his 6% stake. Seems like a plan is being put into operation. My money is on a merger or takeover.

gleach23, what do you think the future holds, will Searle be thinking of a merger or will he has plans to grow the business that Mike did not have.

Given that Peter Searle bought a 6% stake and then came in as Exec Chairman to replace the previous Non-Exec Chairman, this was always on the cards?

Mike Brennan leaving with immediate effect too so it seems that any handover has been completed with Peter Searle even if there is now to be a search for a CEO.

I am still sitting on a £15k paper loss and hope the turnaround will continue.

In the personal conversations I have had with mike over he years he recognised the pain that long term shareholders had to endure. I have been here since the days of constelation plc...before additional name changes. He set bout changing the mentality of the company and has done well. Sorry to see him go but I do wonder if Peter Searle with his experience and mike may have had different ideas going forward.

Good luck Mike

Yep. Sad to see him leave. Similar thoughts on the next move for them but we’ll see who they appoint.

Its a shame Mike has gone, always got on well with him. Looking more like a takeover now.

Regardless of the takeover possibility, NBB will be seen as a good recovery play.

Agree with that tankerton. Yesterday's RNS regarding the appointment of Peter Searle as Executive Chairman will hopefully have helped in that regard.

After my last comment I've given up posting about the daily movements but to me the share price looks pretty intent on clambering over the 10p one of these days.

It does look like NBB are drawing some investor interest and gaining traction.

Today`s action showing just how undervalued NBB is and how far off the radar it is for most investors. An undervalued stock that has something that the bigger players in its sector want`s, that has director interest from those bigger players taking a stake in NBB. Takeover or partnership, take your pick.

Very keen buying so far today. Looks like it's intent on hitting the top of the leader's board again :)

Edit - looks like I put the mockers on it today! Perhaps the 10p hurdle may take a little time to negotiate but at least it ended the day back on the front foot...

It is also worth noting that 79.56% of shares are in the hands of the below. Free float of shares is only 20.44%. so buys will move the price very quickly. I just realised I have 0.23%.

As I said before, NBB are trying to add scale to their business but they are a small company in their sector which has much bigger players. The sector has suffered during this pandemic and they can see that NBB has fared much better. If other companies decide they like the NBB business model and don`t want to spend 3-4 years developing their own, then a take out of NBB would make sense.
Peter Searle picking up 6% of NBB is indicative of interest in NBB by others in the sector and given the undervalued nature of its shares, a take out can not be ruled out.

Peter Searle has picked up 6%,look at his portfolio and see he would not buy into NBB if it was going to fail.
I having listened to the interview with Mike this morning, I recall five years ago, him telephoning me and explaining what he wanted for the business going forward. It was a one trick executive search, it now has 6 aspects to the business which supports the overall structure. I have confidence that he and his team know what they are doing. I believe that other like businesses that are not advanced like NBB, will look to it for ideas, synergies and may result in NBB either buying up other businesses or a major player buying out NBB

So true value currently is most probably around the 30p + range, what sort of price do you think we could see in the event of a T/O? £1 + ?
