bubloo - I think that's a super-pessimistic view, to be honest. One of the big positives for me about NSF is its limited exposure to the Coronavirus.

If the epidemic really gets a hold there may be some financial stress in society, but that's likely to raise demand for NSF's subprime lending. Impairments might rise, that's true. But they already factor in 23% impairment, I think.

You are imagining a scenario where Everyday Loans branches would be obliged to close and no business would be done. Personally I think that's unlikely. I can see sectors like airlines, travel companies events, hotels etc being badly impacted. But I think subprime lending will profitably continue.

So I'm still a buyer here. It's almost back to where I started buying (around 23p). I was buying all the way up to 30p, so my average position is showing a loss. But I'd hope to see NSF around the 50p level by this time next year. And the 12% dividend at this level is very attractive.

though i was a fan of NSF being a doctor by profession I am certain corona will arrive sooner than later here. As you can dee lot of shutdowns will be enforced as we are a country regulation bound and will adhere health england guidelines, though the virus is not as deadly as projected it will be the pressure of sudden surge on the speciality care that will occur at hospitals which will result in number of deaths with surge in infections, this will create hysteria and lots of mundane dail stuff will grind to a halt. this may put financial pressures on peoples income and defaults. the positive way to look at it as nsfw holder will be to think it may well increase the business opportunities. I would certainly not buy more presently. I feel it will drop another 2 to 3 pence and that may be the time to think about getting back non for long term.

comments welcome. I have bailed out yesterday with moderate profit from buys a few months ago

Astonished that people are selling at these levels. Buy when everyone else is fearful. It's as true today as it's always been.

i was one of those that bailed out for the simple reason that corona virus will ultimately arrive in uk. I felt that would impact collection of debt due to quarantines and customers of nsfw may largely people not in the best of health due to their life situations.
i would like to get opinions on this thought. once a clear picture of cover emerges I would like to get back in though i might have missed out on catching the lows

Nuts. Didn't take my own advice of waiting 'til sub 25 to top up. Jumped the gun topping up at 27 :-(

They seem to be filling some large orders at this price.

Yes think you may be correct. Wish I had waited for today to add instead of yesterday however for the longer term a penny here or there is insignificant.

I am not worried if I miss 2p if this rises to 40p and I receive the dividend. It is always difficult to call the bottom with any stock and greed can make you miss out. As long as these markets deliver an opportunity to buy around these levels I will add to my pot. You can see what happens when confirmation of a turnaround is received by looking at DLAR today.

Nice buying opportunity at this level, I think. Buyers from the 20p area selling to lock in their gains, I guess.

Thanks for responses re. timing of final results.

Must be getting close...Update on new debt facility The Group is continuing to make good progress on finalising a new GBP150-200m, six-year securitisation facility to help fund future loan book growth. We have signed an agreed term sheet and expect to complete the final documentation shortly. It is expected that the terms of the facility will provide a meaningful reduction in funding costs versus the Group's existing long-term funding arrangements that mature in 2023. A further announcement will be made in due course.

The financial calendar is out of date and the upcoming events haven't been updated. A recent broker note only stated "Mar’20 2019 FY results".

Gone through my stop. Plenty of stops hit today so booking alot less than I had hoped, but these extenuating events happen and they inevitably cost performance. I'll keep a track here and see if there is another opportunity because it could easily bounce back.

Good luck folks!

It's has been consolidating, it's now triple top, with poor volume

So with the formal sale process underway at Amigo this will certainly be impacting their new customer generation. NSF could quite easily benefit and maybe pick up something on the cheap.

It needs to consolidate prior to an attempt to break 34p. Happy to add at these levels prior to that move which should take it to 40p. Large buyers still interested at this level which is very much a positive.
