17/10/2024 10:53 | DYOR ... not getting drawn in ... | gadgie2
17/10/2024 10:48 | Why do you think you got it next to nothing? Amobee was pilling up losses and overstaffed, we sacked hundreads of people and we are still yet to generate profits from it..right? | tapa7
17/10/2024 10:46 | Wasting money buying Amobee wow ... Singtel invested over 1 Billion and we got it for next to nothing ..... Amobee is what's allowing us to move forward IMHO | gadgie2
17/10/2024 10:34 | We did $42m in adj ebitda in Q32021, this was all organic growth. I bet you we will do 30-35m in Q32024 if we are lucky... Bare in mind we now have a fully vertically integrated adtech solution, we should be burning 50m in hiring sales people to convince big brands and publishers to move from our competitors straight to us AND giving them free perks just because we can. | tapa7
17/10/2024 10:22 | You'd think they would have learnt the lesson that buybacks are not adding value to the shareholders and instead they're punishing new investors by removing stock liquidity. What's another $50m going to do? Why is this management team so poor at allocating surplus capital? How many 100s of dollars are we going to keep wasting buying money losing businesses such as Amobee and doing endless buybacks that the market is not wanting to reward? Nexxen's profits are below the ones reported in 2021 and yet its peers are reporting record profits.. If there's no suitable targets for MAs then pile up the cash and put it into bonds, stop wasting it. | tapa7
17/10/2024 09:04 | I thought this morning's news might move the price... but no. Nothing does that. | tractorhead
17/10/2024 07:28 | Is the share buyback a good use of funds. | whites123
17/10/2024 07:12 | agree, does sound v promising | tsmith2
17/10/2024 07:06 | Perhaps we could have a year end beating expectations soon ... | gadgie2
17/10/2024 06:33 | That news is very positive and shows confidence in the future prospects and current trading.Just less than half of the original $50 remaining and so the additional $50 will hopefully be ready to be initiated soon after after completion of the first tranch on the 1st November. Will the brokers increase the volume of buybacks as we head to the end of the month? We just need a positive 3rd quarter update and full year uplift to light the touch paper. $50 million represents approx 9.5% of current market cap. | midasx
17/10/2024 06:05 | They have applied for approval for a further 50 million US dollar buyback. The next buyback tranch may kick in mid November? | wheeze
16/10/2024 15:06 | TTD at $118 a share now. Market cap $57 billion. Whats that 100 x the market cap of Nexxen? | john09
16/10/2024 14:57 | Good volume and nice little W forming i think its about to move up 50p again | john09
16/10/2024 14:25 | Apologies, This link should work... www.tortoisemedia.co | 100rich
16/10/2024 14:18 | Volumes and share price rising nicely today. Polls showing Trump ahead by 2% in Arizona. In the six other swing states the lead is 1% or less either way. Should be good for NEXN's US Election business. Kamala has raised US$1bn, way more than Trump. hxxps://www.tortoise | 100rich
16/10/2024 13:47 | Thanks Buddy ... My Bad all good | gadgie2
16/10/2024 13:04 | 1GW you are a good poster - but please don’t try and belittle for a cheap points gain…this was an easy mistake that should have passed without petty comment… Gadgie/Digie - legends on here. | barkbooo
16/10/2024 12:43 | Thanks .... Point taken .... | gadgie2
16/10/2024 12:39 | That illustrates the risk in taking these auto-generated articles at face value. Mithaq is not allowed to acquire more shares without launching a tender offer, is it? It declared 25.01% as of 6th February 2024 when its share went above 25% because of the buyback then in operation. In the notification it declared 35917422 shares (including ADS's). Today's notification shows it has actually sold 1m shares since the last notification, but because of the buyback continuing to reduce the denominator of the calculation, its % holding has just gone up through the 26% threshold. And you follow the company closely enough to know better, gadgie. | 1gw
16/10/2024 12:39 | Mithaq buying more what does that tell us ? | gadgie2
16/10/2024 10:38 | Mithaq Capital SPC has increased its stake in Nexxen International Ltd, now holding 26.01% of the voting rights, up from 25.01%. This significant acquisition highlights Mithaq's growing influence in the company, attracting attention from investors interested in the strategic movements within the financial markets. | gadgie2
16/10/2024 08:10 | I wonder if we might dream of a (positive) pre-announcement this time? They've only guided for the year, not for 3Q so they can't really pre-announce they're going to beat on 3Q, but given we're now into 4Q could they have sufficient visibility to pre-announce they're expecting to beat the annual guidance? Feels unlikely somehow, but you never know. | 1gw
16/10/2024 08:06 | Thanks for that 1gw. We should be at maximum ad spend for the US elections, with much being spent on targeted ads. Hopefully nexxens specific election offering will be going down very well. | midasx |
