14/4/2022 07:32 | Good news - still the value play in the sector imo and room for NAV to grow from here too GLA | panshanger1
14/4/2022 07:12 | Excellent news 7.2 percent divi at current price .. | edward3
12/4/2022 10:00 | Flipped my FSFL into NESF this morning | smidge21
12/4/2022 09:56 | 8161 is a buy ..bought for the divis | edward3
04/4/2022 10:05 | the price for an ROC has risen by about 4% for new tax year 2022-23 2021-2022 £50.80 2022-2023 £52.88 I expect it will rise by at least 7% for year 23-24 (as its based off RPI) | llef
04/4/2022 08:20 | What's the new one? | 1tommyt
04/4/2022 01:28 | Another 7% yielding solar energy fund. I'm already invested in BSIF and FSFL with similar yields and this looks like a potential complementary investment opportunity to ride on the shirtails of the priority that is currently being placed by government on renewable energy assets. | masurenguy
31/3/2022 11:20 | Back in the market today following three weeks away on the Swiss piste. Feel my current cautious cash allocation at 10% is too high given ever greater negative real interest rates and makes sense to shift more into the reasonable safety of infrastructure. NESF seems to have been a bit of a laggard in this area of late so have topped up. Still need to find other homes for the remaining cash even though equity markets in general appear well priced. | ec2
31/3/2022 09:39 | Took a few. Modest discount to NAV looks anomalous. Expect that to shift over next year or two as the Company scales up and matures. Meantime a 7% dividend that looks robust. | spin doctor
29/3/2022 13:17 | Topped up a tranche today at 103.9p to finalise my holding in NESF. Agree with apollocreed rationale that NAV will continue to improve. Good yield set to continue and a good fit for my income portfolio. | catch007
15/3/2022 16:08 | Is it too much to imagine that at some point in this electricity market we could get some contracts to supply updated with a better price? Surely someone we supply to has to go bust or withdraw? Then that would allow us to benefit from a small bit of upside in the wholesale market? | roddyb
14/3/2022 08:32 | This still has room to have a move up in NAV and catch up to the premiums on Foresight Solar, Bluefield Solar, Greencoat UK Wind and TRIG. | apollocreed1
14/3/2022 08:25 | New 52 week high at 104.4 | panshanger1
10/3/2022 22:16 | Last discount rate was 6.3, but with higher inflation/power, I'm guessing it's about 7 - take away corporate costs of 1.1 and you are at c6 - so the divi looks like it's not covered by project NPV But then adjust for leverage (love those prefs at 4.75 percent with no amortisation), and you should get to a covered dividend by levered project life NPV | williamcooper104
10/3/2022 21:53 | Oh dear; whose cursing who then :) | williamcooper104
10/3/2022 19:13 | roger, your on all of mine. wllm :) | wllmherk
10/3/2022 10:44 | No reason why this wont follow the same path as fsfl after they issued their new nav of 108 last month. Nesf and fsfl are similar and subject to similar market conditions so I suspect the real nav for nesf is closer to 108->110 taking into account inflation and energy prices. My guess is that this will creep up to the same level as fsfl over the next month. Div is great too, and I expect this will rise as per the 2% rise published in fsfl year statement on the 9th (yesterday). Also it's the only one of the renewable ITs trading at a small discount to NAV. This has to be a strong buy if you want a steady growth and income stock. | bodgeman
10/3/2022 10:24 | Always worth asking why it's at a discount | williamcooper104
10/3/2022 09:55 | The average premium for the sector is circa 14%. Therefore, NESF would seem to be well undervalued and should be closer to 120p all things being equal. | woodhawk
10/3/2022 09:25 | Still trading at a discount to the last published NAV of 104.4p, unlike many others that trade at a premium, so hopefully still room for further increase in share price here. | gbcol
10/3/2022 08:44 | Decent results yesterday over at FSFL I notice | panshanger1
10/3/2022 08:42 | New 52 week high | panshanger1
04/3/2022 12:15 | GLO has always had an uncomfortable amount of hold co debt; and is tightly held/thingy traded OHRE is booming - I bailed there a year or so ago | williamcooper104
04/3/2022 12:10 | Yes, I've been hammered on POLY too. I've written them off (5% of my portfolio), although my main aim these days is passive income from higher divi paying shares. I note that at the moment the POLY divi is still a possibility. My Green energy holdings have held up reasonably well, but I remain astonished, in view massive rises in fuel prices, that share prices remain largely moribund (NESF and GLO in particular, UKW has been spiking recently). | woodhawk |
