06/1/2022 16:04 | Promising RNS today - been steadily adding over past few days. Nice steady earner at circa 7%. | woodhawk
06/1/2022 08:51 | Nice RNS this morning with a buy in Spain. "We expect 2022 to be a very exciting year of growth for NESF. Through NESF's commitment into NPIII ESG, we were able to harness and benefit from NextEnergy Capital's international experience and expertise in the Spanish solar PV market. Co-investment opportunities can offer a unique, return-enhancing portfolio benefit and Agenor marks NESF's first co-investment with NPIII ESG and its first international investment outside of Italy. This is a very attractive co-investment opportunity for NESF whilst further diversifying the growing NESF portfolio." | killing_time
22/11/2021 13:56 | Nibbled a few more Quite liked the update last week and comments surrounding the dividend (7.16 this year) don't think this will be on a discount much longer but I am here for the income anyway !! | panshanger1
22/11/2021 08:18 | NextEnergy Solar Fund (NESF) interim results presentation - November 2021 Michael Bonte-Friedheim, CEO and Founder of NextEnergy Capital and Ross Grier, Managing Director of NextEnergy Capital present NextEnergy Solar Fund’s interim results for the period ended 30 September 2021, to analysts and investors. 22/11/2021 03:36 | Specto, see pg15 for a bit of hedging detail: | rambutan2
21/11/2021 14:55 | excerpted from 19 Nov interims results: "However, for the purposes of transparency, the Company's pre-tax WACC as at 30 September 2021 was 5.3% (31 March 2021: 5.4%)." That's quite high, considering the weighted average discount rate is 6.3%. | bathcoup
20/11/2021 11:57 | That's a big rise, thanks @hindsight. Be interesting to see what happens to our bills when the price cap ends - govnt can't keep it below the wholesale cost or they'll end up having to nationalise the lot. | spectoacc
19/11/2021 17:55 | Best source I have managed to find for curve prices 2025/6 seems about 30% up in last 6 months | hindsight
19/11/2021 16:10 | @EC2 - they do state that, but I'd be interested to know what prices they're hedged at - my guess is they had much of current year hedged well ahead of the price spikes. Still - should mean they get the benefit in later years. "NEC's electricity sales desk continues to successfully manage risk and opportunistically lock in high power prices in line with NESF's electricity sales strategy; NESF's hedging positions (covering 716MW of the UK portfolio) as at 15 November 2021 were: o 2021/22: 96% of budgeted generation hedged o 2022/23: 75% of budgeted generation hedged o 2023/24: 59% of budgeted generation hedged o 2024/25: 18% of budgeted generation hedged" | spectoacc
19/11/2021 16:08 | Thanks hindsight/Stockstock | ec2
19/11/2021 14:27 | EC2, click arrow next to SpectoAcc, in the drop down if it says unfilter click it. | hindsight
19/11/2021 14:12 | If you can't see someone's posts, you likely have them filtered. Can see everyone's here, even who ever's giving all the red ticks (not an ESG investor?). | stockstockham
19/11/2021 10:07 | Very encouraging investor presentation this morning. Div cover expected to rise to 1.3x going into 2023 which also includes the projected ongoing dividend increases. The assets are consistently delivering in excess of original generation projections and is becoming the long term trend. Portfolio provides good inflation protection. Specto - I don't know why, but all your posts don't appear to have any content on my access. I'm sure they are very informative, but all show blank on my screen. | ec2
19/11/2021 08:54 | An upward re-rating across the renewables sector seems overdue considering continued upward revisions to forward power price projections and high actual prices. Increase in the NAV reflects these rising power prices. Current share price looks like an opportunity to lock in a nice high yield. | ec2
19/11/2021 07:36 | NAV finally back up. | spectoacc
19/11/2021 07:33 | Sound results. Nice safe +7% dividend. | gateside
11/11/2021 19:19 | The interim dividend of 1.79 pence will be paid on 31 December 2021 to shareholders on the register as at the close of business on 19 November 2021. The ex-dividend date is 18 November 2021. Up 2.75p | petewy

17/9/2021 15:30 | Some big trades going through here today | panshanger1
17/9/2021 11:55 | The huge jump in electricity prices last week made me buy back in. The battery storage is some nice icing on the cake. Hope they are close to the bottom of the range and will soon move up again. And a very nice 7% yield to boot | a0002577
17/9/2021 07:31 | Move into battery storage to accompany solar. Nice! | rogerramjett
19/8/2021 08:36 | Is that a new stake? Where on earth did they pick that up from? Surprised it's been going down on that much buying (XD today of course). | spectoacc
19/8/2021 08:34 | Good to see Baillie Gifford notifying taking a 10% stake. | ec2
16/8/2021 14:17 | Thanks for the clarification, I suspected that's what you were referring too. | woodhawk |
