14/8/2008 09:07 | cl2201, well said, saved me a post | thrgef
14/8/2008 09:02 | wooley, 1.4-1.8p would probably be what the possible purchasers have to stump up, although i haven't heard these figures in recent rumours. Right now they are just rumours so, with regards to an offer, we can only guestimate as to an acceptable price. In TM's own words there are a 'number' of interested parties so this could push the price higher than the above figures but it just depends on whether an agreement can be made. MetC makes a good point about TM being where he is today with regards to being rich man. I would suggest that in this case, though, he may not want to put the co. into administration given that he has invested heavily in the company which in turn has invested heavily in R&D (20 mill +). The sales might not be there now but it was always a long term project, one that he might want to make private, keep costs minimal and then sell further down the line for big bucks - that's what a serial entrepeneur does. Afterall the product is a good one. | cl2201
14/8/2008 08:45 | Mercier et Camier So where do you see NNG heading to? Thanks in advance. poppadomonline.com | poppadomonlinedotcom
14/8/2008 08:42 | One of the main reasons why people like TM are rich and you guys are not is because they don't become over emotionally attached to a business. If TM has to push NNG into administration to save costs he will. Whether a company is private or public it's the sales that determine if it remains a viable concern. If NNG ain't selling nothing what's the point in taking it private. | mercier et camier

14/8/2008 08:33 | Excuse my ignorance but if he takes it private what does that mean for us shareholders? | sharewinner2

13/8/2008 21:58 | Sir Terry Mathews will not let one of his companies go into administration imho, if no buyers come forward he'll take this company private. The question is at what price. He has recently openly discussed how the AIM has become increasingly unsuitable for R&D companies and that keeping companies private before they become less of a perceived risk and full revenue earners is the way forward. | thrgef

13/8/2008 11:25 | Better plays out there imo. O/T Capt at 0.35p, coverage initiated with 2.20p price target against current price of 0.35p..see thread. | treacle28
13/8/2008 11:01 | 50% spread is not much of an incentive to buy ... wolterix : sells (7 million +) outweigh buys by approx. 2:1 so far | explorer88
13/8/2008 10:51 | just topped up :) | diggulden
13/8/2008 10:32 | nearly as much buys as sells, mad | wolterix
13/8/2008 09:37 | there we go - so predictable mm's were unable to find any buyers and have marked down the bid because of concerted selling pressure investors are starting to realise that the company probably now has no value to shareholders | explorer88
13/8/2008 08:59 | tight spread at the moment 0.25-0.26. mm's trying to entice one or two buyers in before dropping the bid. be careful if you're looking at buying. | explorer88
13/8/2008 08:52 | seems to be some wild speculation about the cost of redundancies.. £1 mill? hmmm, there's only about 50 or so people there now? | wolterix
13/8/2008 08:34 | ex88 I agree with your synopsis. But the ACME interest for and against NNG were a pack a lies as was any knowledge you claimed about a sale price. | mercier et camier
13/8/2008 08:30 | Do not act in haste, chin up there is still time and its still worth a punt | wasifussi |
