17/7/2008 10:57 | 27w - the prospective takeovers i've identified / invested in in the past have ranged from under a week (e.g. UBQ last year) to over a year (e.g. SRF last year). Check out the UBQ and SRF threads for more detail... With regard to NNG - i'm expecting takeover announcement to be much closer to the UBQ timeline than the SRF timeline. Wouldn't be surprised to see RNS of bid approach within two weeks. | explorer88
17/7/2008 10:53 | decks are being cleard in readiness, thats why shorts closed | seabass
17/7/2008 10:52 | what timescale are we talking about for the possible takeover? | 27wilsford
17/7/2008 10:48 | when you consider share price was over 200p a year ago, does it now seem cheap? | seabass
17/7/2008 10:47 | 27w - the company is effectively underwritten by WC (mitigates downside risk of it going bust). Management changes have been made to enable the company to be bought (by APKT). RNS has stated that they are looking at option of selling the business. TM has put the business up for sale. APKT has £75m cash and will use between £6-£10m of this to purchase NNG. NSN gains competitive advantage from APKT/NNG deal. Good luck. DYOR. | explorer88
17/7/2008 10:43 | when a share goes up let the trend be your freind!! | seabass
17/7/2008 10:41 | is this really worth a gamble at these prices? I've been watching for a while but am a bit worried it might just be froth! | 27wilsford
17/7/2008 10:39 | on the leader board up 50% again | seabass
17/7/2008 10:36 | explorer - seems quiet on this thread considering sudden rise again. This is about the 4th large jump of last couple of days. After reading rns about Co. the trading figs are really bad, so this is either monte carlo with the value of technology or bust with lack of revenue. Constant jumps leads me to hope its going up permantly to bid offer. | seabass
17/7/2008 10:31 | seabass - i did say that i'd buy a few more if the mm's let me ... :-) The only doubt i have is whether the business will be sold to APKT for 1.6p, 2p, or nearer 3p. (edit : fwiw, at the moment, i reckon 2p) | explorer88
17/7/2008 10:20 | on the rocketship again!! | seabass
17/7/2008 08:33 | alby you have mail | loafy
16/7/2008 20:43 | Have to admit for a nano second nearly topped up today @ 0.9p. Glad I didn't obviously. GAM have closed their short posiion & Terry Roberts has grown his stake above 11%. What is th market CAP? According to ADVFN £1.9M which seems like a good deal to me. Have lost a bit of money on this one & I may buy more as someone out there has confidence. The Co have delivered an RNS stating that there could be an offer made & I believe that 0.5p share will not cut it. Poss doubler so for me to get my money back I believe I will need to buy a chunk @ 0.6p if I am to break even here at 1p in the near future!! Good luck all. | billthebank
16/7/2008 18:25 | still can't see the significance of the two evolution rns's from Monday | wolterix
16/7/2008 17:53 | What do the RNS's say? GAM have sold all their shares and someone called Terry Roberts has bought some? 21M shares changed hands roughly meaning buys and sells of roughly 10.5M sold and bought at say 0.65p per share that's what about £68k worth. Until something else is announced formally by the company I still think it looks like a ramp. | whonosewhy
16/7/2008 16:55 | d6 - this is more than a ramp. read the rnss. something substantial is happening. i bought a few million around 0.23 / 0.24 yesterday and, if the mm's give me the opportunity, i'll be adding a few million more at around 0.5. However, the mm's are rather shy in selling their shares at the moment, i wonder why...? | explorer88
16/7/2008 16:41 | Well - it was suggested yesterday that this was purely an LSE bulletin board ramp. Tough to those buyers whom ignored the warning! | double6
16/7/2008 16:02 | harry - i'm here. spent a very pleasant day taking my 4 year old daughter round an adventure park. Pleasantly surprised to see the share price back to 0.6p to buy, but disappointed that the mm's are only selling 100,000 shares at a time online, whereas they're happy to buy much larger numbers. should see a very strong bounce from this level this week, especially bearing in mind today's RNSs. mm's are pulling in the shares they need to make this happen. | explorer88
16/7/2008 15:46 | Well that me, weather to good to stay in and ogle at the computer. | bengo
16/7/2008 15:43 | wolterix and mr roberts, the plot thickens Hmmmmmmmm! | bengo
16/7/2008 15:35 | WHere is Exploreer 88? Where is this share price going now? | harrytrad3
16/7/2008 15:04 | soooo, who is Mr Kaged then? anyone we know....? | wolterix
16/7/2008 14:19 | Ive said it before. Explorer88 is the most dangerous poster this website has ever seen. | orinocor
16/7/2008 14:14 | The company is dead. There are companies out there with better sbc technology now. They're behind the competition. No one is going to buy them, they'll just have a slow death. Get out before another placing happens and save some of your money. Any one not selling when it was rose to a penny is mad if you ask me! | andrew1664 |
