Sorry no I don't know. I received a letter from my broker on 21st December saying there had been a recently announced Corporate Event and the shares have been removed by the registrars and my portfolio updated accordingly, (ie: Neos no longer showing).
Broker ended the letter saying "further information will be sent upon receipt from the company".

I cant see any company announcement. I looked on Companies House website and see there is a filing in December of a confirmation statement, that's about it.

Shares have been removed by the registrar due to a recently announced corporate event.

Stephanie - I am not sure when you last spoke to Mr Tainton. When I spoke to him last year, he was trying to sell D1 oils.

But when I spoke to him I think in March or April this year, he had to purchase a bio-fuels business and cannot get rid of D1 oils as that is how complex the business has been set up. Without this, none of the tax losses cannot be utilised at all. The business has to be bio-fuels even to utilise the management losses.

Did plan to speak to him in September but he said he would probably call me in advance of that if progress was in line with his expectations.

Probably taking longer than I thought but back to being a bio-fuels business again. That is a shame but hopefully may get some money back.

They produced accounts for D1 oils, and I hadn't seen before that they have two new directors - Mr per Joachim Emanuelsson and Mr Kevin Connal Mcgeeney. As well as Russell Thomson becoming a director.

This company is still very much alive in my opinion.
They have net tax losses credit worth around £12m
Gordon Tainton is working on the case. D1 Oils has to be sold off.
See how quickly they reacted to "strike off" notice.They replied within 24 hours.
It is a slow (very slow!) process but there still could be shareholder value at NEOS.

The Confirmation Statement was due in Sept. They just produced an updated one (old name Annual Return) from last year. At least it looks like they're on the case.

Osbourne - sorry didn't explain. But it's all at companies house.

15th November 2016 : Companies House have issued a notice for company strike off.
To avoid this, Neos have 2 months from today to provide cause to the contrary.

yes my broker tells me that the shares have been taken out if crest and once the Revenue agree I can claim it as a tax loss.


In other words the share is worthless

But is been worthless for years
