04/11/2019 17:28 | A couple of months should do it mike2909, the tariff submission should be in by then, with the PPA negotiation slated for Q1 2020 IIRC. All very vague deadlines, they sound more like finger in the wind than serious expectations, but I guess the slack is to accommodate the public sector parties. Once these have landed, we get to see what the 60% ticket will cost CMEC & GEC. | yogaboy
04/11/2019 17:01 | Yeah I can run along then, whilst I’m there if you want I can pick you up another pair of rose tinted glasses, yours must surely be well worn out by now ! | mike2909
04/11/2019 16:40 | Run along then. | cl0ckw0rk0range
04/11/2019 15:01 | I thought you were coming back in a few months as it was too depressing. | cl0ckw0rk0range
04/11/2019 14:07 | Bit of a battle going on today. 1 million buy plus a few 100k buys sadly tempered by a 1.9 million sell and 300k sell. Are we expecting yet another Tr1 from mr fletcher ? | mike2909
04/11/2019 13:17 | Someone's keen | cl0ckw0rk0range
04/11/2019 09:25 | Doesn’t look like it Yogaboy, depressing at the moment here. Better to come back in a couple of months. | mike2909
31/10/2019 16:34 | Hanno's biding his time to buy at the year's low mike. I sincerely hope he has missed that boat ;) | yogaboy
30/10/2019 09:43 | Interesting | cl0ckw0rk0range
29/10/2019 07:39 | Was rather hoping that when i saw the Rns alert it may be Hanno buying. However it is the large holder averaging down. Big punt now by Mr Fletcher who recently stated his attention was drawn to Nccl by one of the bond holders. See how the market reacts, but up to now they seem to just shrug their shoulders every time he increases. | mike2909
29/10/2019 07:39 | Forced average down? Why this price? Kind folk on this board were predicting 16, 20, 30 p by now, actually, a year ago. Something very fishy here . A poster who cannot use critical thinking and always post positively? Who is in head over heels in love with this company. TRADING SHARE OMLY. | escapetohome
29/10/2019 07:23 | Scott Fletcher increases holding again. Well played | imjustdandy
28/10/2019 13:34 | good to see Mozambique’s Nyusi wins landslide election victory - opens the door to the elevator. | soultrading
24/10/2019 19:29 | 40% share on 80% gearing then as Hanno mentions in the interview. So do the math on that. | cl0ckw0rk0range
24/10/2019 19:17 | CO my bigger picture is Nccl progressing to completion of the power plant and hopefully still retaining their 40% share. Now before April GridX was not in this picture and most people would have been satisfied with Nccl putting all their endeavours and funding Into making the power plant a success. It is my opinion that GridX was not needed and this is bad timing. If your opinion is different, fair enough, but we are all entitled to our opinions. | mike2909
24/10/2019 16:49 | Let's discuss YB as you seem to avoid it. Mobile telecoms in Africa. Look at the uptake. Same things going to happen with diesel V stored solar. FACT. | cl0ckw0rk0range
24/10/2019 16:48 | Then you obviously cannot see the bigger picture Mike. | cl0ckw0rk0range
24/10/2019 14:35 | What! You are comparing mobile communications to one poxy project that will take 5 years to pay back 1 million dollars ? Surely as you put it ‘the bigger picture’ is exactly why the GridX project is a waste of time and money, that’s the whole point imo. The share price is in the absolute doldrums and has been for months now. | mike2909
24/10/2019 13:55 | Were mobile telecommunications a "pointless distraction" as you put it Mike? You seem to not be taking the bigger picture into account here which is rather small minded of you. | cl0ckw0rk0range
24/10/2019 13:23 | Fully with you on that Yogaboy. A pointless distraction, using credit to fund when taking 5 years to break even. Was this really necessary. Hanno, certainly talks the talk, of that there is no doubt. Would be nice to see him back his extreme positivity by buying more shares in Nccl. Now in the 4s not exactly inspiring is it? | mike2909
24/10/2019 13:16 | It's explained in the podcast | cl0ckw0rk0range
24/10/2019 13:16 | > To claim that no management time will be spent on GridX is ridiculous. Making an investment and not allocating time and resources to monitoring and managing that investment is daft, yet any time spent doing so will be disproportionate to the size of the investment. | cl0ckw0rk0range
24/10/2019 13:10 | I'm with you on this mike2909, GridX is a poor decision from every point of view.Investing in GridX shows how the BOD have misjudged the importance of being seen to be totally focused on the Ncondezi Project, especially given the Pengilly family connection. The market has understandably marked them down for this.In wattage terms GridX is tiny, absolutely insignificant, but it has now been the subject of more than one RNS and more than one CEO interview, giving it much higher status than it deserves. The market could very easily use this to question the Board's confidence in the Ncondezi Project. To claim that no management time will be spent on GridX is ridiculous. Making an investment and not allocating time and resources to monitoring and managing that investment is daft, yet any time spent doing so will be disproportionate to the size of the investment. The market looks at what the directors do, as well as listening to what they say. All in all, this is a schoolboy error and the market is punishing it. | yogaboy |
