I don't see anything to make them drop the share price ? Appears to be making good progress from where we were and the future looks bright?

Just commenting on shares I have been in, like NCC......think it may see profit taking given the rise as not sure this provides enough to get back to prior share price levels....let's see....cheers

A nice, solid trading statement with no surprises, which is just what the market wants to see.

News flow soon hopefully re the sales of the Web Performance and Software Testing businesses.

Good to see Fox-IT looking better and a more focused business model moving away from low margin 3rd party sales.

The outlook comments re "buoyant" markets are enough to keep momentum going:

These are being closely managed and monitored to ensure we achieve the target benefits.

Reports an increase in continuing revenue by 5.6% (£62.7 million) and all Divisions for the period in positive territory, except Domain Services (as expected) and notably, partial recovery of Fox-IT business (Assurance).

All seems in line. No new CEO but Tenner is clearly doing a good job. The future looks bright. Buoyant markets etc.

Cerrito, thanks for your input, pity you're not able to attend and hopefully someone from our BB manages to make it and provide us with some feedback on discussions. Sometimes such meetings are recorded and later available on Youtube, as was the outcome of Strategic Review. I noted a bit of 'selling' evident in this afternoon trades ahead of the Update is only to be expected following a quite positive run recently.

I had hoped to be able to make the AGM tomorrow but will not be able to.
If anyone can make it, look forward to their feedback. The 9am start is not welcoming; note that in the AR they have a very good analysis of their shareholders and only 5% are classified as private shareholders and a further 3% as domestic brokers.
In the statement be interesting to see what they say about FOX, new CEO(we have been told one is due for September) and sale of web performance and software testing, as well as current trading.
No doubt we will be given how they foresee themselves doing against market expectations; I have a PBT figure of £30.34m for this year to 5/18-no idea how others see market expectations.
Incidentally interested to see that MD of Escrow has been a corporate lawyer with no operational background; my reading is that Escrow does not have the management issues that Assurance has so may not be the end of the world. I assume that Stone-perhaps benefiting from his 12 years as CEO of Northgate-is taking the lead with making the changes in working practises in Assurance. If I had been there would have been something I would have hoped to get some insight.

A2594728 I felt that the results presentation set the scene for the scenario you maybe tongue in cheek alluded to. However, suspect any real progress is not revealed until share options are in place for new team....call me cynical!

As you ask and I must stress, its a pure speculative 'Wish List' on my part that might include, a fix and resumption of the Fox-IT Contract with the Dutch Government. That wouldn't be bad, followed by a few more sizeable Contract wins and announce a further reduction in Debt.
