A divided economy.

So many glitzy new cars on the road, 35 million of them.
Every day is gridlocked, so few go to work these days.
2 or even 3 car families are commonplace.
Overses holidays, expensive houses, smartphones and the rest.
Loads of money.

The top half are doing very well.

Yet there are some at he bottom switching off their fridges.

How can we improve the standard of living for all of those recent immigrants, one parent families with 3 children and alcoholics or drug addicts who have dropped out of the system, and those unfortunate enough to be long term sick, not physically but from mental problems.
So many not participating in the work force with mental problems.

Looking after the poor whilst encouraging a better work ethic is the problem.

Who would ever have thought that Britain would have come to this? The government has destroyed the quality of the lives of millions of its citizens because of its obsession with the global warming lie..

lr,

I despair - Widdicombe just launched a blistering attack on Cameron.
It doesn't really matter to me - I decided eons ago that I will vote tactically at the next election, to try to get my sitting CON MP out. My constituency has swung back and forth in recent decades and the latest Regression Poll has the incumbent losing by some margin to the LDs. I'll do my bit!

But all is not lost - the man who set his country on the road to oblivion and made it the laughing stock of the world is back in government. Probably got more chance of being the next party leader than the buffoon has as well.

She's probably 'sandbanked' from that - expect her to be chairing a quango in no time, on half a million a year! They know how to take care of one another, as Howard Davies initially attempted to show.

Just a theoretical question really - in no way connected, of course, with any specific case ....But should a member of staff leave NatWest's employment categorised as something other than a "good leaver" - might that lead to such a person being debanked?

Still a long way to go but much better

One thing I hope that Ms Rose does not get a payout after her completely inane lack of discretion has cost investors a small fortune.

Possesions in a box and escorted of the premises should be her swansong

Over the past two decades, the proportion of pension assets invested in UK-listed companies has dramatically declined – falling from 53 per cent in 1997 to just 6 per cent in 2021, according to the Capital Markets Industry Taskforce.

Exposure to domestic stocks has plunged further still over the past two years, falling to 4 per cent on average, think-tank the Tony Blair Institute warns.
