It's a couple of Sundays since that front page Observer piece about Haythornthwaite, but there doesn't seem to have been any follow-through whatsoever, (after rummaging around the internet). A total non-story by the look of it.
So I think we can assume Plan A remains in place - he joins the Board in early January, officially takes over as Chair in April and he will need to find a new CEO.
