20/1/2022 20:08 | eaaxs06 The second half usually delivers most of the revenues for NG (very cyclic)and usually (not always),from April through to May (final results), the share price increases. So if it does fall over the next few weeks, stay in touch to take advantage of possible opportunities.:) | newbank
20/1/2022 12:28 | I joined a few of you on here, by taking a profit earlier today, as it now looks a bit ‘toppy’ to me. I’ll probably be wrong, so keep the faith all you holders out there, but a 35% profit in less than a year is not to be sneezed at. I’ll certainly still be monitoring the shares and looking to get back in when/if it drops back to that 800/900p range, that’s been quite prominent for the past 4 years or so. Good luck everyone, Sid. | eaaxs06

14/1/2022 13:02 | Shstt1, To whom is your response related to? Don't understand your point. What has been said recently to create such a comment? I don't know many regulars on here that work for the public sector. Most are established and long term successful investors across a range of sectors. Uty, Thanks for the update regarding NG gas sale and the pointer regarding Plug Power. In my view your future outlook looks interesting. | newbank
14/1/2022 12:21 | Thank you for that information and reply UtyINV. | medieval blacksmith
14/1/2022 12:06 | For the record, but many on here will already appreciate, I am far from being right wing. The suggestion is farcical. For whatever business it is of others, I regard myself as ‘Centre’ I believe in hard work. You deserve out of life what you put in. The young, aged and those too ill to work should be supported by the State. Everyone else should support themselves through work and the tax system. So back onto what this bb is intended for, the discussion on investment regarding NG and news on recent developments within the Company. Gas sale is on schedule. On a global energy front, plug power (US) is giving an annual business update on its Green Hydrogen business next Weds 19th Jan (same date as our interim dividends are paid). For save on researching, plug is a long term investment strategy and the target price is $47 currently trading at circ $24 and has attracted a ‘Strong Buy’ rating from analysts, but as always DYOR as analysts do get it wrong from time to time. The potential of hydrogen goes well beyond energy considerations, ie, a by-product of hydrogen used in vehicles, heat homes, power engines etc is water ( pure water). With a bit of imagination and Engineering conviction, this can be used in other areas, ie, to irrigate crops. There are various ways to produce hydrogen and what differentiates green (or blue), hydrogen from grey hydrogen is the power used to manufacture it, ie, green hydrogen uses solar or wind energy (sustainable forms of energy). How is this related to NG, well NG will maintain a stake in the Gas Transmission industry but is also looking at the integration of Hydrogen, initially as a mix, then who knows. 50% of NG’s business is also in the US. Many will appreciate new Gas boilers are usually promoted as being Hydrogen ready, Clue? Penny dropping? 😉 | utyinv
14/1/2022 11:03 | Pierre "Minerve, aka blacksmith and lots of others, please respect this previously informative board ." OK. I've said enough. This board is generally a good one, and UtyINV is a valid contributor, but I'm not going to allow right-wing nonsense be written unchallenged. Just have that in mind. Good luck all. | medieval blacksmith
13/1/2022 23:59 | About to break out into a new high, this will be a strong move up | shouldhavesold
13/1/2022 23:57 | I sent you a bit of advice anyone who’s been around for a while will know. | shouldhavesold
13/1/2022 23:47 | What’s that got to do with NG. There are special forums for political keyboard warriors, this isn’t the place. | shouldhavesold
13/1/2022 11:49 | One has to exercise the only power they have, eh? LOL | medieval blacksmith
13/1/2022 09:54 | This bb was and is administered by Bountyhunter to facilitate discussion relating to investments in NG, ie 'likeminded' investors that actually hold assets in the Company. I along with many have found information provided by Uty to be very informative, evenly balanced and respectful. There are a few posters, many of whom have changed their 'username' to try and convince readers that their views are fresh and new, but in actual fact have an agenda and/or have bitter views not related to the intention of this bb. Posts by those in the 'Know' ie, Uty, Pierre, Bounty and many others are most welcome. This is a well administered bb, far better than some others, where some posters do not use investment forums for the reasons intended. Let us please maintain the standard which we have enjoyed on this bb for many years. Pierre I agree with the advice you offered Uty. | newbank |
