02/7/2015 09:44 | a low of 805 or 820 what does it matter, the divi gives the share price solid support, the london housing ripple is creating a lot of wealth so the next 2/3yrs looks good for investors/investing same % rise & fall as SSE so just this sector to come back in favor | mike24
01/7/2015 17:21 | Very weak day on such a positive day for the markets generally. I had thought I would not get 805 but I am not so sure now. | salpara111
01/7/2015 16:55 | The fall seems a bit daft to me. It is as though the neurotic punters think if Greece exits the Euro we are no longer going to need gas and electricity infrastructure here or in the US! How barmy is that? The yield is nearing 5.5% after standard rate tax. You can't get that in a savings account! | bbonsall

01/7/2015 11:46 | I'd say it's gone down because there are more lucrative stocks out there in the present grexit climate. Once punters have made a killing (or not) and Greece has gone its own way, then the punters will come back to regular income stocks. | gbb483
01/7/2015 11:29 | MC - do you think ng's price is driven by past prices, or things like the greek situation atm? I'd say it's recently gone down (like almost every other share) due to greece worries, and gone up today due to the removal of uncertainty on whether greece would pay up or not. I'd hazard a guess that it will go up further (like mostshares) when greece manages to stay in the club (for the time being). I really don't think past prices know anythng about greece. | pierre oreilly
30/6/2015 16:21 | unfortunately the chart pattern really doesnt look like it has made its low yet but it is tempting think I may wait for a better looking pattern first mornington crescent - 05 Jun 2015 - 11:30:59 - 3463 of 3554 will break 820 first | mornington crescent
30/6/2015 15:04 | seems to have fallen decisively through floor of rising trend channel dating back to mid 2010. also lower highs/lower lows being made since Q4 2014. share price has had an exceptionally good run since 2010. only natural for a period of weakness/consolidati | speedsgh
30/6/2015 14:10 | puzzled they have fallen so far fundamentals appear unchanged. | atlantic57
30/6/2015 12:54 | Hmm, I have set a limit order for 805....has to be good value if only for the divi at that level. | salpara111

25/6/2015 14:18 | chart seems to indicate down, short term, having sold half prior to x divi, hoping to buy back lower punters seem to be on the sidelines hoping for grexit bargains there are two hundred or so, specialist cable fitters in uk, the guys that work on pylons, not even employed by NG, some have seen wages rise from 45 to 70k over last 18 months, directors paying themselves mega bonuses, low interest rates are creating "real" inflation on par with 74 edit sunday press,MPC "hawk" martin weale said britains job market "fizzing away nicely" but wages were rising more rapidly than expected =rate rise=strong pound=tougher for exporters, a Greek tragedy while Brussels is wallowing in cash, nai | mike24

22/6/2015 14:06 | Some interesting points; I've taken the long term chart in the header back 10 years now. ...a repeat of the 2007 pattern would be nice :-) ...but that pattern if repeated would require getting out at the end of the year! | bountyhunter
19/6/2015 19:46 | Probably in no better state myself, speedsgh. Just out of interest Google Finance goes back to 1999, has a free portfolio service and real-time prices. If you look more recently at the NG share price around this time of year for 2013.2014,2015 -with a final ex-div date of June 4th/5th - in May the share price rises dramatically to fall again just before the ex-div date. Several days later (DYOR) it starts to rise again. I suspect this is little to do with intrinsic NG value, more to do with traders' need to profit. It is what it is. Cheers. | tonio |
