18/3/2020 12:38 | If is such a bargain we should we rns of directors piling in big time | stallone10
18/3/2020 12:25 | Nex should use their coaches for home deliveries. | orchestralis
18/3/2020 12:23 | Erm, in times of difficult cash flow, the divi is usually the first casualty. But with the government holding everyones hand the fall does seem overdone. | lefrene
18/3/2020 12:13 | I'm in. 13% Divi. XD in April. Underwritten by ukplc. | orchestralis
18/3/2020 11:43 | Chesty1 - Nah. Way up above £2 I did say I would be buying small amounts at each new low. Bought 300 at 100p and again at 90p. Happy to average down with a 6-9 month view. Also bought at 135p, 125p, 115p. ;-) Now got orders in to buy again at lower levels if it drops further. | grabster
18/3/2020 10:54 | I used service from Stratford London to Stansted regularly. The airport run for two years up until Christmas. New fleet of coaches as well as extra slots in summer. A great service and always full of travellers who came from Europe for long weekends in London. I am keen to get onboard the stock as soon as travel ban is lifted. | claret dragon
18/3/2020 10:21 | I agree there has to be more communication given the spectacular share price fall. I still hold a relatively small amount because: (a) to sell now is pointless unless one desperately needs the cash; (b) the Government has repeatedly said it is committed to do whatever it takes to support businesses. I fully expect direct cash injections into the economy by the end of the week if the wider stock market continues these relentless falls; (c) understandably there is a lot of panic given the health concerns and a bull market that was built on cheap money but this crisis will eventually pass. Businesses will of course fail but I believe there will still be a need for intercity coach travel and transporting children to school when this is over. Hopefully that will still be NEX. | rhiw27
18/3/2020 10:02 | The company has to make a statement - their silence does not bode well I fear | enormouswillie
18/3/2020 10:01 | This is just relentless - it’s acting like it is about to go bust | enormouswillie
18/3/2020 09:54 | grabster you grabbed too early me tinks | chesty1
18/3/2020 09:03 | Added a few more. | grabster
17/3/2020 17:41 | This is a good company - they will bounce back. | yf23_1
17/3/2020 15:55 | m_kerr - I imagine there are 'force majeur' clauses in all their contracts which provide some protection for both parties in the event of an official government decision to enforce closures.. Added a few to hold. | grabster
17/3/2020 15:51 | goodness me - this is a savage fall. over £4 pre covid now down to £1.22. phil oakley says it's a solid business that can pay a growing income. does anyone know if they still get paid for the school bus business in north america if the schools shut? | m_kerr
14/3/2020 13:48 | They will bounce back no question at all about that, just a question of when - it’s a great and well run business | enormouswillie
14/3/2020 13:19 | Yep. Lots of further damage possible, especially where they are contracted to run a bus or train fleet regardless of almost no passengers. Expensive business in those circumstances - though I imagine they can negotiate a change of terms in areas where a national emergency is formally declared. It's a shame - prospects detailed in their last Results statement looked good: I shall continue adding small amounts at lower levels in anticipation of an autumn comeback. | grabster
13/3/2020 17:27 | Getting hit by Alsa. Will be really smeared if they close US schools nationally I Would expect. | 18bt
13/3/2020 16:00 | Hmmm. I thought it might be overdone at 260p but that now looks like wishful thinking :-( | cwa1
13/3/2020 15:55 | Looking extremely weak but I wonder if this free fall is overdone? Obviously they are going to take a significant hit in revenues with recent events | enormouswillie
12/3/2020 14:51 | Taken a little nibble in the 260's, NOT because I think we've seen the bottom-who know-just hoping that in 2 or 3 years it will look like a fair entry price. Good luck all. | cwa1
12/3/2020 08:16 | Made nothing from that daytrade! But added a tiny few more (to keep) when an existing buy order at much lower level was triggered this morning. Will buy more small lots to tuck away at lower and lower levels. | grabster
11/3/2020 08:21 | Bought a few in anticipation of today's UK Budget which I am expecting to include boosts for spending on public transport and the transition to electric buses. I daresay the share price will continue to be knocked down, so any budget gain might be a trading opportunity for now - but I expect to buy as an investment once the virus has run its course. | grabster
10/3/2020 17:01 | - and then ... Travel related stocks all getting bashed, unsurprisingly in the circumstances. It's a shame that NEX's good Annual Results statement has been overshadowed (for now) by the covid-19 impact. I rate their chances of emerging from it better than most peers. I am inclined to consider buying each new low during the next month or so. | grabster
27/2/2020 17:28 | Not a bad effort today with the FTSE off 250 points. | stardog2 |
