11/10/2018 14:55 | Took another chunk this morning at 3.85 in anticipation of a good trading statement next week. | stardog2
17/9/2018 08:44 | Star - thanks. MU. | m4rtinu
16/9/2018 22:22 | Hi MU, the multiple small trades will be large buyers / sellers changing their position at average price over a period of time. Also, depending on what's on the order book the institutions can use these small trades to move the price around on low volume then work through large trades at a better price. The large trades you see after hours will have been trades worked through during the course of the day that only get published when the trade is complete. As for the afternoon support I don't know. The US market does seem to steady the nerves here as it keeps marching up. | stardog2
12/9/2018 13:34 | Star - not sure if I have asked this before, but as you seem to trade rather than hold, what do you make of the mostly small trades throughout the day and they large action after hours (excl the UT)? Also, the support after midday; often around 2-2.30pm? Yanks? Cheers. MU. | m4rtinu
11/9/2018 17:20 | Back in today for a chunk at 393.4 and 394.4. | stardog2
05/9/2018 10:10 | I managed to take the divi and exit again at 406 on that odd spike on market opening a couple of days ago. Still a firm believer and will buy in again if it falls much further. | stardog2
29/8/2018 16:08 | Hi Star, It seems the ex divi fall has come a day early. Are the MMs dipping their shoulders to sell us a dummy or to flatten us? FTSE 250 down. £ up. Slight delay announced to Brexit October deadline. But possibly positive sentiment coming from Barnier re: what UKs final relationship with EU will be. Nothing negative from the co since last update, so all should be well. | m4rtinu
29/8/2018 10:44 | Morning MU, couldn't resist joining you again in this one. Good chance to pick up the divi tomorrow and hopefully get a bit of capital gain from here. Surprised at the opportunity on low volume this morning. | stardog2
09/8/2018 18:30 | Good price, Star. I'm still in. Wasn't at home today, so eye off the ball. Proper amateur :) I agree there are some big global headwinds, which could throw market into to turmoil. And we have Brexit hanging over us too. I am hoping this can go to 430-440 but general market conditions could throw that way off. MU. | m4rtinu
09/8/2018 15:41 | Sold out this morning at 4.19. Will come back on weakness. Looking to stay in lots of cash with current market. | stardog2
30/7/2018 14:33 | Broker updates: FWIW 27-Jul-18 UBS Hold 410.00 410.00 Reiteration (Old New) 27-Jul-18 Can. Gen. Buy 440.00 465.00 Reiteration | m4rtinu
28/7/2018 13:14 | If I'm honest, I expected a further day of (less dramatic) rise. On a specific note: the trades in NEX seem mostly small ATs. With the greatest volume in the UT (as expected) but often quite a bit of action after the bell. Any thoughts, to help with my share price movement estimates (guessing)? | m4rtinu
27/7/2018 19:43 | Some profit taking today but on the strength of current trading I'm happy to hang around and see what happens in the weeks ahead. | stardog2
26/7/2018 20:14 | I think we got similar prices in the end, but at different times; I think I held too long! But agreed we need to time our exits. Be interesting to see what price targets, if nay brokers give. | m4rtinu
26/7/2018 17:45 | Very nice price action today. Just need a broker upgrade in the morning to give it a push and establish a break out. Just wish I had picked up more than the 8,000 I got yesterday morning. Martinu, we need to time our exit better this time I think we both took profits too early last time...... | stardog2
26/7/2018 15:27 | Thru 420p for time being. US buying? 421p ish was recent high; 425p 13 & 52 week high. | m4rtinu
26/7/2018 10:30 | Any accountants on here? What do you make of: 1. rising receivables and payables, please? Also, 2. current tangible assets are well below liabilities: is that a worry? Cheers MU | m4rtinu
26/7/2018 08:50 | A bit repetitive, but .. Debt is also up again, which is not mentioned. Up c. £50m or approx 6%. | m4rtinu
26/7/2018 08:44 | Didn't seem to need to subscribe for this. | m4rtinu
26/7/2018 08:42 | There are loads of other results out today, so may take longer than usual for views to emerge. | m4rtinu
26/7/2018 08:39 | Breaking 420 would be good 1st target. | m4rtinu
26/7/2018 08:29 | Normal form is for a subdued open then a decent rise as brokers digest the numbers. Can this break through the 420s | stardog2
26/7/2018 07:20 | Yes reads very well to me. Should lead to a decent open.... | stardog2
26/7/2018 07:04 | Looks good on v quick glance. | m4rtinu
25/7/2018 14:39 | Hi, a bit surprised at the drop. I still have faith in NEX, though I've been in and out for small profits. Current entry is 399p, so back to square one for me. | m4rtinu |
