If the webcast is an 'explanation' (expansion/clarification) of the results... then I guess the results might need some bolstering .. i.e. what the future holds in more detail?Wouldn't be needed if otherwise..Nothing wrong with that, just that the merest hint of unexplained issues seems to send nano (especially) into a spin.Going to be a long week!

I'd suggest it's the PH influence...asked Buchanan last year if they'd be doing one for the AGM, and got the rsponse " why? They've never done one before". Let's hope they've got some good stuff ready for dissemination by then!

Have they done such a thing before? Can't recall, but if not then it bodes well. That or they are just trying to be more "professional". Won't be long before we find out.

Thanks syd777. I would love to be able to top back up just being more cautious as I realised what a 3p drop did to my balance. Still really positive and hopefully will see a bounce. What is best app to see balance of buy v sale, I use Hargreaves lansdown but you have to log into main site to see trades (ie rubbish )

Firm I use ADVFN,LSE and HL, all on the main site,but professionals have upgraded levels I'm sure someone here should be wiser to help with that question.

Firm:many trading hours are left before the results,if shorts start reducing then some have fallen into their hands.Its the risk v reward outcome,I see wise old Trt has topped up again trt seems to have the knack.

Hi syd777 what do you mean by exit strategy being played out, please? Admittedly I reduced mine today to cover some risk but overall trades today seem pretty balanced

£ is at an all time low this helps from companies paying Nanoco in $ and euros,again low volume, and the 61 low of last week did not last long.I believe it's an Exit strategy being played out.

There must be quite a few people out there who know if a placing has been agreed. My money is still on one being announced with the results to enable delivery of the new strategy.

Can't disagree slippy still risk and until the revenue starts getting banked and released it is just an agreement. From my side hoping there might be some positive news 11th october wah hong or merck and no doubt you will hope not. Luckily for me i literally lucked in at 40p so still well up. Well aware of big risks but given no new previous fiscal results expected other than the pretty lame £1.9m hoping share price at least stable. Clearly 'hope' is not a great strategy and funding risk concern remains. I am genuinely excited about the future.

As we've seen before. Any legal commercial agreement with potential customers is only as good as it's clauses for substantial up front licence fees, minimum quantity purchases and milestone payments. And sadly these are not secured or at least not significant imho.

On a positive note merck amd wah hong would have scrutinised nanoco big time as part of their due diligence entering into an agreement. Glassdoor is used by frustrated employees, hardly going to get any neutral view as what's the point. Walk into any john lewis store and the future shines back at you in the form of qdot tvs. Now if only dow can get that deal with the 'big S'.
