Haven't we all seen the accelerated drop in SP, just before the announcement of the first commercial order? It looks like something similar is being "engineered" now...

Edison/Nano also stated that "at least four programmes (each of which can supply into multiple models) have progressed to the technical approval stage. Consequently, we should see more programmes progress to commercial orders over the course of THIS calendar year." ......................................We all know what happened with the share price when they announced one (the first) commercial order. Expect another 3-4 similar announcements over the next 5 months!

crunch,

Any news on QTM's imminent commercial sales ... talking about kicking the can. They need to update the market having missed key milestones surely?

Valuation: Heroic assumptions not needed
Once all three partners (Wah Hong, Dow, Merck) are up and running (likely in 2019), it does not take aggressive assumptions for earnings to scale and the rating to look very inexpensive. As visibility of this growth into profitability improves, we would expect the shares to rerate upwards to at least a mid-high-teens forward P/E rating. On our base case, this would suggest a share price of 70p plus within 24 months.

2019 is a ways away..kicking the can down the road again ?

slip,

Think I would add profits from or will profit from... Otherwise we would never progress and just live in the present tense.

Hmmm think we'll possibly see some chunky trades later on.

Will peeps buy in prior to results or anticipate a sell off on news.
Certainly it'll be hard to see how it can be turned around unless we get confirmation the first order was 'stonking' or others are now confirmed from different customers.

I do not think your definition of a commecial sale is correct.

A sale can only be deemed "commercial" in my opinion if the seller profits from a given transaction.

Sadly, this either is not happening with Nano or for some rather strange reason, the company is reluctant to provide measured information on profit margin and volumes.

Crunch,
It's a sale for a product on sale commercially to the public. The Philips new range of qdot TVs is my guess. Launch in September. Very nice. More to come.

200k dump boosted today's volume.
The quicker they close that gap the better. Get it over with.

Mornin'

So looks like the volume may pick up a bit.
We may have a fairly large seller around. Can buy now @ 36.84 well below 37.5 mid.

It may be old but I hadn't noticed it until today!

I knew they had won. Just a bit slow on the video! Sort of thing that NANO should have on their website really. Perhaps they do?

Kindly please define what is considered " commercial sales" because Nano hasn't declared what that is.Is it a 100 grams is it 1000 grams..will this order cover company overhead. The biggest question is why hasn't Dow been able to commercialize and get sales orders. That is why they were brought on ..wasn't it ?Their supply deal is vague for a reason. Also to note Nano had a failed demo model with LG more than two years ago, so until there is a commercially viable tv for sale that consumers will actually pay for its a little early for applause.I feel the exact same for QMC as far as sales are concerened. Its why neither stock has taken off yet.Look at UDC (OLED),their stock was stagnant until they started reporting profits quarter after quarter, thats when the market takes notice and piles in.
