He also confirms that the two parties had been talking together for some time before the investment, where the interest and respect was obviously mutual. | noirua

18/2/2018 12:55 | @888ICB the public RNSs are there for all to see and draw your own conclusions from. Really there are only two possibilities; First is that you are right and that someone like Tencent is going to buy them out, presumably at a premium Second is that you are not right and this is all a manipulation of expectations to maintain the share price to keep the show on the road On balance, I think the second is more likely. Based on three things. The first is the poor way the Company treated shareholders last summer. The second is the lack of any update regarding revenue numbers etc. Thirdly is that it would be easy to construct this scenario (get some friendly associate to make an approach for the company, get the PR to drop a story into the press that Tencent are circling) I hope I'm wrong as I suspect there are a lot of PIs heavily into this stock | doyourresearch
17/2/2018 23:58 | In an RNS dated 8/1/18 MYSQ specifically refer to press speculation regarding Tencent Holdings Limited. So they do mention Tencent but do not specifically say they are in talks with them but they do say they are in discussion with a number of regional players so it could inter alia include Tencent. The point is that the most likely end game for companies like MYSQ is to be taken over by a company such as Tencent. | 888icb
17/2/2018 21:53 | @888ICB Perhaps you could point to the company's announcement that they are in talks with Tencent? As far as I can see, there is an announcement that they have received an approach, another that they are talking to various regional players about cooperation etc and some press speculation that Tencent are in discussions The issue with Mysquar is that they have manipulated the market already by running a special promotion to boost short term sales, reporting those sales, but not make it clear they were as a result of the promotion. Then, if you look at the cash balance and the burn rate, they are probably about to run out. Hence my skepticism that this is all a way to manage the share price to get another placing away and let Eric continue on his £240K pa gravy train | doyourresearch
13/2/2018 09:33 | From end of year results/last revenue update- revenue has been stabilising, reaching approximately US $189,113 in October 2017 and US $140,000 in the first 3 weeks of November 2017. That was back then who knows where we are now! Back to break even? Only time will tell. Also As stated from last rns beginning of January 18 mysquar is pleased to announce that the Company is progressing well. As previously announced, the Company is in various discussions that are progressing in a constructive manner. Other points worth remembering alot happened within the company last year and strong foundations were put in place a example 11/12/17 MySQUAR will be distributed on the Huawei inTouch platform across 30 countries within Latin America, Africa, Southeast Asia and the Middle East.§ 22/11/17 The number of registered users grew by approximately 167% from 7.5 million on 12 January 2017 to over 20 million by 31 October 2017. Lastly Myanmar’s market fundamentals still remain strong with a population of almost 53 million where nearly half the population is under the age of 24 and a GDP per capita that has been increasing every year over the last 10 years by at least 5%. With such a young population that can learn quickly and is eager to access localised media and entertainment, it presents an excellent opportunity for MySQUAR’s products and services. looking forward to next news/revenue update $-) | dollar17
13/2/2018 07:56 | Good points simpletonremover. Jaknife knows all this evrh another tech company which has a market cap of around 120 million!!! And don't think that company has even made any revenues yet!!! Jaknife is there on that bulletin board throwing tantrums like here to try and scaremonger to satisfy his own short!!! | dollar17
13/2/2018 07:34 | JakNife That could be written about a whole host of growth stocks that are valued based on their continuing development and future forecasts in a range of sectors. Asos was valued at £50, when it's NAV was £1. Non-producing resource stocks are valued in advance of any production. Accountancy style valuations are irrelevant for market valuations when the sector within which a stock sits, is in a growth phase. Future sentiment takes the lead. | simpletonremover
12/2/2018 17:56 | Twitter is measured against number of users per month for example so please get into your head that the financial measures you want to use are irrelevant in determining the value of this company. How many times has Twitter or indeed many other companies in new tech raised further money. Thats how it works and its not a bad thing. A takeover is a possibility at this point but it is by no means certain. I am simply putting the other side to your very negative view of MYSQ. | 888icb
12/2/2018 14:12 | Its actually very undervalued which is why a number of parties including Tencent are talking to us. | 888icb
12/2/2018 12:51 | Very overvalued here guys be careful. | tidy 2 |
