07/3/2023 06:38 | Spacedust I recall you saying TLY was a better company than Mhc last year and saying how they delivered with a dividend. Wgg he Ata your opinion now it’s cracked from 42p to 18p. Cash is king and MHC will come good. | tia01
06/3/2023 06:35 | This share is at yearly lows. No news is killing it. The board need to issue an update because shares that are heavily in debt are rallying in recent months. This share stuck in the doldrums until an update. No Directors buying so either they can’t because news is coming or they’re not interested. Either way it’s been a bad investment for LTHs but this could change with positive news | tia01
05/3/2023 23:40 | Im only interested to know how this effects our revenue!. I feel MHC have more contracts with other retailers lined up. If chemist’s go from supermarkets then go straight to the supermarket for a deal. Sounds simple to me | tia01
05/3/2023 13:18 | That means many over 60 will be hurt Those over 70 in serious trouble Those over 80 potentially on a fast trip to heaven or hell as unable to get their medicines or consult their chemist. Plus of course a new wonderful opportunity for fraudsters and crooks of all types. | pugugly
05/3/2023 12:13 | Makes sense. Everything can be done online now, if you have a computer. Screwed if you don't though. | encarter
03/3/2023 17:50 | Lloyds Pharmacy could close all UK branches Lloyds Pharmacy has reportedly put all of its 1,300 branches at risk of closure. The chemist chain, owned by private equity company Aurelius Group, has launched a strategic review of its entire UK operations, The Sun reported. This could result in all pharmacies being sold or closed. It comes after Lloyds Pharmacy, which employees 17,000 people, announced that 237 branches within Sainsbury’s supermarkets will close by end of the year. | bittorrent
03/3/2023 12:31 | I mentioned the divvy as it indicates what management may be thinking ,so maintaining it points to the direction of 'sorting it' Recruitment costs, yes, but they arent constrained by the budget in quite the same way as NHS is, so they can apply the following logic [ numbers taken out of the air and rounded off] Normal staff costs £20/hr, agency cost £60/hr. What might be needed : staff costs £25/hr - hence what to do as a no brainer ? | keithadaz
03/3/2023 12:13 | I wouldn't count too much on the tly divi - they were pretty much compelled to continue it - imagine what would have happened to the share price if they'd said it was being cut - very nasty. The staffing problem also extends to recruitment, so it's not just pricing, it's also availability which affects not only cost/price but possibly service levels too. A hard one to call. | supernumerary
03/3/2023 09:54 | TLY seem to have fallen foul of the agency disease with staff costs spiralling. Revenues it says are in line with budget, but with labour costs outstripping that. If they can sort that, one imagines that the company will be very cheap . Chances of that happening ? TLY are maintaining the dividend, so I reckon a medium to good chance personally | keithadaz
02/3/2023 23:18 | Spacedust Who happened to TLY. Fell off a cliff. Maybe a good entry after the sell off!. What’s your thoughts?. | tia01
02/3/2023 15:35 | Why did they only request permission for 10% buyback. Could they have requested more or were they governed by some rule or something. The more taken out the open market surely increases the price based on supply and demand if they hit targets | tia01
02/3/2023 08:58 | I wouldn't expect an announcement at the start...The permission was for up to 78m shares which, at current price is just over £1m so, still leaves room for Divi as well... | control1
02/3/2023 08:14 | I would expect them to announce the start or at least when they make the first purchase. I would prefer a divi but if they choose a buyback, now would be a good time. 2.4p in the next 6 months is my target. | encarter
02/3/2023 07:15 | Whatever the situation the share ixx as in the doldrums. Rubbish shares rocketing and MHC at lows. Forgive me for saying lack of updates killing the share price | tia01
01/3/2023 20:25 | Pressed button too early, not sure about RNS is requirement but, I presume they will advise once the programme is complete | control1
01/3/2023 20:23 | Resolution 3 was passed so no, no permission required.... | control1
01/3/2023 18:49 | Wouldn’t they have to release an RNS if they were buying back as the last update just cleared the way if they went down that route! | tia01
01/3/2023 18:27 | Buy backs going on..? Would explain drop in price, hopefully handbrake off after... | control1
01/3/2023 07:00 | Dunno. Seem to be doing well though, no reason we can't do the same. Interesting to see who our partners are. | encarter
28/2/2023 08:13 | Conflict or supplier? Thoughts - knowledge? | pugugly
27/2/2023 12:30 | It wasn’t me shaggy | tia01
27/2/2023 12:27 | Well someone got fed up waiting... | control1
