18/7/2005 11:09 | Someone has just bought 500,000 so you may well be right JDA. | bluemerle
18/7/2005 11:08 | Hi, I hold 2,000 only, as I say bought for a lot more than the present share price I can continue to hold these which are in a Nominee name and pooled in an account with that of other MUU holders. Am I being over suspicious that the Broker is after some cheap shares?? | bluemerle
18/7/2005 10:47 | How many do you hold Bluemerle? I would not be surprised if there is not a share consolidation as well. It may be worth increasing your holding to a more manageable size? | jda
17/7/2005 18:42 | I received a letter from my Broker to say that my holding of less than 8,620 shares means that my shares will be sold after 10th August, unless I return a retention notice. The broker has offered to sell my shares on 10th August, and not charge any commission. The shares were bought a long time ago, at considerably more than the present share price Do I just leave them, and hope that they will eventually be worth more, or sell and pocket the petty cash. | bluemerle

28/6/2005 06:59 | Appears like UK shareholders maybe being treated as second class citizens (again) by MUU from MUU's registrars To date, we have not been advised as to whether Murchison United NL (MUR) plan to pay proceeds for the sale of shares through the Unmarketable Parcel sale in Pound sterling. A decision regarding this may be made closed to the closing date of 10/08/2005. | bageo
27/6/2005 17:06 | No consolation for me but thanks for that | dadob1
26/6/2005 22:42 | A more optimistic view is that they are reducing the number of shares in the market prior to announcing news that will move the share price, therefore adding to the price increase. This may not be the case but I have seen other Australian companies adopt this approach. However I am an optimist. Ken | kayp
22/6/2005 19:01 | Over the last 5 days this stock is up 12% down under. As for the sell off of small investors, the only thing I can see is they are struggling to find an investment and are cutting costs???? Any thoughts out there??? | dadob1

28/4/2005 15:43 | Interesting day. Nearly a million shares bought. No sales but shares marked down. I gather mms expecting to pick up shares in Australia where there is a bit of loose stock. However I hear acompany has at last idnetified a couple of project not in Africa as previously anticipated but in Ukraine/Europe. This one has a fan base and should really motor on announcement unlike most mining peers. | wiseacre

06/4/2005 21:27 | karloss, It is likely because these are traded in the UK as 'residual stock'. Try Barclays Stockbrokers | gerri-c
06/4/2005 17:29 | Who is trading this stock in the UK? I hold certificates and deal with Lloyds Shareview but I am told they no longer deal and will not give a reason other than to say it's a crest Problem. I hold just over 800000. Any help please. Karloss | karloss
06/4/2005 15:02 | EGM in Australia on 20th April to approve a number of matters including the sanction for the second tranch of 25.7 million shares at an agreed placement to Hartley's "sophisticated" investors at 4 cents!! That is equivalent to 1.85p here so a bit rich but then the company needed some working capital funds. So, with some 250 million plus shares in issue not too sure how the capital raising will be executed as participants will get diluted from existing holders. There is also bound to be a share consolidation, and maybe they will go for a straight rights issue (rather doubt it)...still, I expect Evolution will come up trumps one way or another. A uranium investment in Africa is still being evaluated according to the last word from MUU management, but there have been some recent delays in Government licences, mainly Namibia. MUU have stated Mali and two other West African countries. Time will tell but getting a bit more risky....still worth a small holding I think. DYOR | cyberian
06/4/2005 14:23 | anyone know why we have a 10% rise today - action on the way?? make that 15% | feroza |
