17/12/2004 11:52 | noirprince...from what I understand everything/everybody still in place and although quite a speculative situation one can take a measured risk on this one. Again its down to ones faith in the new team, their integrity and experience...persona | cyberian
16/12/2004 09:25 | Up again down under...small trade but up 11%...one can always call their Perth office 00-61-8-9381-4711 and kick a few tyres!! Still feel that since 3rd Nov. when they advised "reviewing a number of potential exploration projects" that any potential deal will take time to set-up. But still expect hopefully that something will be announced in coming weeks, if not just a status up-date. Perth is 8 hours ahead of us here by the way. | cyberian
14/12/2004 16:15 | The lack of info and the ability not to get info will continue to drive this stock down. | noirprince
10/12/2004 18:47 | At the end of the day this is a blind punt so we can only keep guessing Down 3.6% down under | noirprince
09/12/2004 20:54 | An interesting sale at the close tonight of 921,000 at 2.1p....assume the MM's will find a home for it above that level. The trail has got very quiet....this has often been said as the precursor for some excitement....BUT there is always a risk that the new Board's strategy is not going too well. Just haven't a clue but guess the nature/character of these resource/mining companies are somewhat complicated and may take longer to engineer?? Any views? | cyberian
03/12/2004 13:28 | No trades in Australia over-night.....just cling to hopes of some news fairly soon. At least an up-date on how the board is progressing with review of candidates/opportuni | cyberian
03/12/2004 09:50 | tempted to buy more stock even if it is just for the short term | noirprince
02/12/2004 16:58 | If the 2 key board members are indeed in London as suggested, then hopefully that are talking to the likes of RAB Capital and/or many other critical institutions over their future plans. A market cap of circa £4 million would be an attractive starting base for a number of names...maybe Timmis of Regal may get involved. Anyway, I am betting on the low current market capitalisation as the spring to get this shell moving...the shareholder base is excellnet IF they can be convinced to stay in, the board has experience and contacts, and the dual listing is helpful. | cyberian
02/12/2004 14:23 | up 10% down under today. How the hell can u get any info it is driving me mad | noirprince
02/12/2004 07:22 | Shares and volume up in Australia last night so some action could be close IMHO. | cyberian
01/12/2004 18:03 | 750,000 trade today at 2.35p was a buy....so starting to warm-up a bit. | cyberian
26/11/2004 17:12 | Hi wiseacre...see you haven't posted for some time so I guess you are a holder from some time back, and have been hopeful of some positive action. Personally, my interest got triggered when I saw that Featherby had resigned from Regal (RPT) back in early August, his move to the Chair at MUU, his excellent credentials etc. with Gabriel, European Gold (EGU), and Frank Timmis. Maybe the latter will provide some financial support or something...who knows?? With Reilly they appear to have a credible connection with their Perth based firm, know the resource/mining industries, and have good pedigree from their auditing days. I wonder if they have been able to warm-up the old but prestigious names from the existing shareholder base to their future plans and strategy. We have here a £4 million market Cap. clean shell, but the form of re-generation could take many varied routes. Guess we have to assume that they will elect the most suitable....could be an exciting ride for those prepared to travel. If they add some solid/substantial names to the board who have integrity and experience in the sector, I will be even happier. | cyberian
26/11/2004 16:00 | Standby for action. Am told the boys will be in town next week and all will soon be revealed. The early bird gets the worm! | wiseacre
22/11/2004 11:29 | Believe deals are there but structuring and doing the rounds and trying to gain support from key shareholder base has taken some time. Initially I would look for strenghtening of the executive team and this may well come soon. Featherby and Reilly are aware that they have to get the first deal off to a flying start so again selection is critical. They need to excite and get some credible momentum going forward...timing still looks good in present market.A bit more patience...the down-under fall is through lack of trades...recent investors have taken a position and will hold. | cyberian
20/11/2004 10:56 | Over the last week the share price has gone down 14% down under. | noirprince
11/11/2004 15:24 | Finally took the plunge and bought some will keep an eye out for news and info | noirprince
10/11/2004 12:43 | Bought MUU from 1.1p up to current levels in small amounts and again topped up this morning as i think something is about to happen. Just a personal hunch. Here's hoping. We will just have to wait and see. | punna
10/11/2004 12:26 | punchy buys coming through | seagreen
09/11/2004 19:55 | You are not alone joined last week only small but for the long term! :-) | seagreen
09/11/2004 16:35 | Nice 1,000,000 T Trade at 2.45p...really believe we may be on the right track with this name. Hope some of you BB contributors share some of my confidence...I really am taking a view on the new board. DYOR and good luck! | cyberian
09/11/2004 13:57 | Shares up nearly 8% in Australia...the issue of shares to cover a remaining contingent liability may be less than the 23 million approved as precise value of compensation not yet concluded. At least it will be no more and some party may elect to take the shares themselves as a cheap entry to the new investment strategy being deployed by the new board. I expect to see some action fairly soon and some additional board members as a result. Everything now looks well set to move forward...again one is taking a view on Featherby and Reilly and I do believe that they will not disappoint.High risk/high reward..dyor. | cyberian
09/11/2004 13:17 | The issue of 23 million new shares wil certainly dilute the stock. Do we hold on? Also no news on the aquasition front | noirprince
04/11/2004 08:37 | Must look for some guidance from comments at next tuesday 9th Nov.AGM as to progress/plans to add shareholder value. Expect constructive developments as the new team appear to be very serious and experienced, so unlikely to disappoint. They need to get some strong momentum going and so I see a mix of short and longer term targets. New Board are going to use this vehicle to substantially increase present market cap. of circa £4.2 million....just no point in having a low key expectation or strategy to secure marginal benefit for long suffering shareholders. The Board need their support/backing, and the key incentive would be with some transactions with realistic up-side/value. Featherby/Reilly have indicated that other board members would be added, and again we should soon see the scope and new direction of the company. Expect to see some profit takers on any further share price increase but again one should look at potential level of future market cap. and a multiple of that of today. I am trying to look at the key fundamentals here but one has to take ones own view and of risk involved. DYOR. | cyberian
03/11/2004 11:52 | Someone paid 2.7p for 400K Info. yesterday from UK Analyst Rumours & Shakers: Murchison United shares were up 0.45p at 2.45p. The company is a clean Aussie cash shell and informed observers are expecting some exciting mining exploration assets to be reversed into the group very shortly. | initiate
02/11/2004 18:12 | gonna buy £500 tomorrow. would have bought today but my internet account wasn,t working, trying to sort it now. | noirprince |
