28/1/2005 19:12 | Reverse takeover rumour further news - Shares in Murchison United added 0.025p to 2.575p after WatsHot.com reported talk that a reversal is close at hand. The leading small-cap website reported talk that the cash shell, which recently completed another fundraising in order to fund its ongoing search, was close to a deal. The rumours were that, at last, a deal was near and would involve the injection of some exciting (if clearly not low risk) uranium exploration assets from West Africa. That would leave Murchison as the only pure uranium play listed in London. 24/1/2005 15:48 | The shares are being purchased at an 18% discount which to me seems the buyers are confident the company means business | noirprince
21/1/2005 10:38 | Kayp hope your right and I am wrong for you, friends and all the holders good luck :-) How come you can still trade them here? | seagreen
21/1/2005 01:21 | Thanks for the info. - anyone remember the good old days when MUU was suspended for 9 months (or was it longer) in the UK while people could merrily trade them in Oz - just before they went down the pan if I remember right - a complete farce - fortunately this time round things seems more positive | initiate
21/1/2005 01:03 | Murchison have requested a voluntary halt to trading on ASX pending the release of further information in relation to the capital raising. Assume there will be a RNS* to this effect in the morning. Should make things interesting. I suspect Cyberian will prove to be correct and Seagreen may unfortunately not have the opportunity to re enter at 1.85p But who knows? Ken - edit * But then again perhaps not | kayp
21/1/2005 00:58 | Shares suspended until 25th January or before on further info relating to capital fund raising announced earlier...all cleared with ASX. All a bit odd but it may simply be some technical matter?? should get some clarification over coming days. | cyberian
20/1/2005 11:43 | Glad I got of this one flat I nearly came back in the new shares have been issued at a share price of 1.8p at todays exchange rate of 2.4586/£1...will get back when it drifts back to the issue price nearly always does unless there is immediate news ...and the retail boys get stuffed again | seagreen
20/1/2005 10:05 | So what's with the price drop today ? Was it up in Oz yesterday ? | initiate
20/1/2005 09:05 | Placement today down-under suggests things are under way...the company needed some working capital to remain credible and price was reasonable. The fact that Directors are taking-up 13 million plus shares is a positive development too. Personally would not be surprised that the company is more advanced with some ideas as they have been scouting since last August for appropriate investments. Share price could start to get a following soon in anticipation of some well structured deals in the pipe-line. DYOR | cyberian
