anyone willing to take a gamble with this and buy some. I'm sure most of us will be sitting on 80%+ losses. Could have recouped some of that over the last two days. I'm tempted but this has been such a dog the head says no :)

Up 60% in Aus and 28% over here in the last few days.

From June 1st announcement:

"As a result, the Company no longer has any liabilities, contingent or otherwise, and will be seeking to move quickly to utilise its dual listing structure and shareholder base to acquire a new business, recapitalise the Company and give shareholders an opportunity to restore value."

So today's announcement confirms the rumours I heard and posted to this BB on 24 March. Given the market cap, any deal they do will have a huge impact on the price. Well worth a punt

The rumours are not new but if true Murchison could have big gains, but that is what you are taking a gamble on.

I'm hearing rumours that Murchison has finally agreed settlement on its Silcar and other liabilities and that soon is going to be used as a shell, capitalising on its dual listing in Oz and London.Since its current market cap is only about £1mill any such move would have a hige percentage impact on the price.

Anybody out there hear anything similar?
