Looks like it's been 22nd June, 28th June and 1st July they've announced results in the last 4 years, so last week of June looks a good bet.

https://x.com/turkish_straits/status/1788059793187311898?s=46&t=xI2-gceVHgm-MOozUlV4uAA further 4 x FPB-98 Mk1 vessels being delivered making that 12 since May 2023 with up to 8 more to go, hopefully all within FY25. Proposed to each have 1 x DS30B mount each according to one source and assuming the mourns are delivered, this is another decent source of revenue for MSI during FY24 and FY25

I'd say June but tough to be specific on past performance.

I'd be surprised if anyone has any inside insight to the results, MSI are famously tight lipped. Last year the share price was really weak in the run up to Finals and they announced a £54m VSHORAD contract.

I'd love to know how you deem the level of confidence in a transaction (unless it's your own of course :-))

Yes results could be anytime from next week through to end of July. Forks and Forgings biz is hard to monitor via the industry but the forecourt business seems to be doing well with a good tailwind behind the sector from key players such as MFG who are investing cash plus the ongoing EV rollout. As for branding it's anyone's guess but I'd hope they are at least breakeven. Most of this will be immaterial as the defence subsidiary starts moving towards and beyond GBP 100m turnover.

Last year the full year figures (not a TU) for year ended April 2023 came out on June 22 2023. No hanging about producing the numbers !So, we could get numbers for year ended April 2024 anytime this week or next week or later ! (MSI do seem to be a law until themselves). For me, the question is how the petrol station, branding, forgings and fork handles divisions are doing. I have no doubts about the defence side but don't want to see minus numbers for the other parts.

Just a matter of a few impatient private investors selling down relatively small amounts. MSI is the type of thinly traded stock that just a few trades can significantly move in either direction. The patient types will wait for the finals to be announced in June

I think the balance is they have some very good defence contracts with US and UK Navy and it would seem Terrahawk Paladin is in demand. The phantom award in November certainly concentrated the mind that some corporate deal could be a consideration, plus profile of current board and them seeming to be clinging to their holdings!

Indeed good point I'd forgotten about that. Share price suggests could be coming sooner rather than later

harrywilliam, I think this is what will happen and there seems to be some preparation for such an event. From last year-

"The Company has granted a phantom award in respect of 100,000 notional shares, exercisable at nil value, to Roger Lane-Smith to reflect his significant contribution to the Board, and the Company's progess and international development, and in order to retain and incentivise future service to the Company (the "Phantom Award"). The Phantom Award will be cash-settled in reference to the share price on the date of exercise. The vesting of the phantom award is subject to continued service and will only vest in the event of a future change of control of the Company. The Phantom Awards will lapse if they have not vested within 10 years of grant."

Wonder if this company will be bought out in coming months. Aging senior management and owners of massive stakes in the company looking for a way to get that golden goodbye. It's certainly the right time to sell for a big premium
