Cash of £7 million against market cap of £2.5 million, i know what you are all going to say, they will need cash to bring their product to market, not if someone takes them out!

Neuropharm(NPH) released results yesterday. They had over 30p net cash at end December. Currently can buy at under 7p. They have cut cash burn and will be issuing a strategy update shortly.

MPM need to issue a strategy update because they clearly dont have enough funds to take their remaining drugs pipeline to market. And raising funds in this market is well nigh impossible

If you're interested in other stuff in this sector,GWP has had some good news recently and could do really well if your patient.

I personally think that some of the smaller oil producers/explorers have been massively oversold and could have lots of upside.....I bought into AFR yesterday,........but for gods sake do your own research and do it well.

All you can say is that the cash is currently more than the mkt cap....but the product is not going to make any money.Its just a question of what happens to their cash.I have watched for a couple of yrs and thankfully never bought and I just think there are much better bets now.

Good question. MPM dont have enough cash to fund their remaining drug development progamme to completion. Its at too early a stage. Similar to Neuropharm (NPH) which has a market cap of £1.85M yet had £12.5M net cash at end of June 08.

£7 million cash against a market cap of under £3 million is ridiculous! You can actually buy at 4.8p!

MPM had £9m in cash at the end of Sept (as stated in interims) and at the end of Jan they had £7m....a burn rate of about £0.5m per month.....so that would give them about a year to go....and fwiw their market cap is only £3m......

Naz4 - failed science but cash. Someone may pick it up but for the cash but to have to reprofile this for another indication would take years and lots of funding. its toast

and another piece of AIM shyte bites the dust.....shame is that it's the PIs who get burnt in the process and no one give a toss...keeps on happening...always take care before buying anything listed on AIM...
