'filter' me if you like - stick your fingers in your ears and go "la, la, la" - do what you need to keep the faith. :-) | pikey01

21/3/2012 11:22 | Meanwhile, in the background internal news continues to be positive. This posted on LSE bb. Alittle news for you This was put out internally yesterday, so Mouchel are still winning contracts and so working to make money and reduce debts. Mouchel awarded ICT contract in Hackney Hackney Local Education Partnership (LEP) has awarded Mouchel's Education ICT business a contract for the design, procurement and installation of the ICT programme for one of the Hackney Building Schools for the Future Phase 3 schools. This final phase of the BSF programme in Hackney focuses on the re-provision and new-build of special needs schools. The contract begins with the implementation of the New Horizon Special School in May 2012. The total contract value for New Horizon is £278k but, if successful, Hackney LEP will extend the contract to a further two schools and two Pupil Referral Units which would increase the revenue from this opportunity to c£1m. Paul Wilson, who led the bid for Mouchel, said: "We are delighted to have been selected to provide this important, core service for the New Horizon Special School and contribute to an improved new environment for the pupils it serves. This award also helps Mouchel build further its portfolio of schools' ICT in the special needs area of learning." GLA and hoping for a recovery this afternoon. | whoppy

21/3/2012 10:52 | pikey net bank borrowing in 2009 £101.7m net bank borrowing in 2010 £83.4m net bank borrwing in 2011 £87.7m A five percent change between 2010 and 2011. Is this important? Not really. As asset sales in this financial year will reduce the debt to lower levels. In 2010, cash was used to pay off circa £20m. CASH. With no divi being paid there will be more CASH in the pot to reduce debt. This company is still turning over half a billion pounds. operating profits are positive. losses were down to write downs. I filtered you weeks ago, but just thought you deserved an answer on that one. | taxislags
21/3/2012 10:51 | "sally", since when does a close period mean a company cannot issue an RNS? Answer: It doesn't. | pikey01
21/3/2012 10:50 | Looks like mm's getting their fill from nervous investors before news next week news and feeding off the scenario of Game fear. 21/3/2012 10:25 | taxislags what makes you think the debt has come down in recent years? That isn't evidenced in the yearly results. | pikey01
