I'd suggest the main reason for ditching Hoare Govett is that they were the ones who advised Mouchel to reject bids a mere nine months ago of almost ten times the present share price, and charged the company an arm and a leg for doing so.

If it had been me, I'd have shown them the door long before now.

Post 3252 - look at the times of the trades - they are "O" (ordinary) trades AND happened BEFORE the UT.

looking at the books i would suggest a min of 50p for MCHL,

I know that may be disappointing for long term holders who are in at 200p + but thats the way the markets work unfortunatly.

And the reason there is currently a lot of money to be made from trading in companies that are too cheap.

There should be a lot of buying interest in MCHL at the bell following the Goldman Sachs appointment yesterday. I expect them to complete the sale of the company in the near term. Interesting times ahead that is for sure

500k combined buy @ 16.5p - 17.10 and 17.11
250k sell @ 14.35p - 17.16
