18/2/2012 10:46 | On a serious note Mouchel Group is turning a corner and with so few shares in issue and such a tiny market capt at present there is potential for huge upside i.e. "10 bagger". Once it was sold down to 12.75 on Friday it got bourght all the way back up to 16.75 later on and the buying in the last couple of days has been very strong. The fact that an inst. has sold a few shares means nothing and infact can be classed as a good sign as alot of stale money is formed on such large falls. The order book has been strong all last week and very strong yesterday afternoon with over twice as many buy orders on the book hence the rush up to 16.5. Low to mid 20's price target for next week. | johncraven
18/2/2012 10:45 | Institutions have many reasons for selling down stock...out of the six major shareholders, only two were quantity sellers . In January and December, these two sold about 18% (circa 20m shares) of their holdings below 10p ( a 50% loss at current prices...with many shares sold substantially lower))..but retained 21%...not very bright you might think...but they may have pension commitments hence pressures to sell. I had hoped the directors may have bought at these levels,,,however, with knowledge of ongoing negotiations regarding restructuring of the balance sheet, being privy to sensitive information and getting close to the Interims next month... may bar them from trading....which could be construed as 'good news'....(my opinion only) During the period the Institutions sold 18% of their holdings, the "opinion consensus" indicated a 72% red 'SELL'..not a bit of green in sight. If you were responsible for controlling a pension fund and your job was on the line holding MCHL , you would have to explain to your superiors why you did not sell...If I was that man...I would have sold just to justify my job..but I'm not...I bought. | htrocka
18/2/2012 10:33 | pikey lol like your 6.5 - 9.9p range. Expect to see the 20's early next week. | johncraven
18/2/2012 08:30 | Henderson (the invest co everyone keeps saying is "buying on behalf of Costain" blah blah blah) have sold a load, which sort of undermines that takeout theory, no mater what "SALLY1" BLATHERS ON ABOUT. Sub 10p by next Friday. Obvious as the uppercase in SALLY1'S POSTINGS | pikey01

17/2/2012 18:40 | mouchel is now a very differently run company under the leadership of grant rumbles the newish ceo . This chap is an honest hard working guy with alot to prove. i believe he also cares about getting shareholders value unlike the previous ceo.I have absolute faith in this chap and the company under his leadership.AS far as an offer for mouchel it would have to be at circa 34pence at the least or 6 costain shares for every mouchel to start with plus a bit of cash .The window of oppertunity to buy this company on the cheap is becoming smaller by the day.I HAVE TO ADMIT I THINK I WOULD RATHER LET GRANT RUMBLES COMPLETE HIS MISSION OVER THE NEXT 12 MONTHS BECAUSE THIS COMPANY WILL BE WORTH 85 MILLION AT THE VERY WORST.ALSO PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE A FIRST CLASS COMPANY WITH FIRST CLASS PEOPLE AND NOW ALSO FIRST CLASS MANAGEMANT.SO WHY NOT SIT IT OUT ? I DEFINATLEY AM | sally 1
