But the filter button doesn't stop you trying to influence other less astute punters with your rubbish. We have a duty to protect them and uphold fair play.

badger60... Do you actually hold any shares in this company and are trying to find someone other than yourself to blame, or are you one of those inadequate individuals who gets pleasure from the misfortunes of others?

I discount the notion that you are a concerned investor trying to give advice to others for two reasons, firstly that you say little other than "Woe, woe and thrice woe" and secondly even you must understand that noone in their right mind takes share advice from an unknown individual on a web forum.

Give it a rest fergodsake!

They're more likely to be weighing up options - placing or finance. IMO a placing to get beyond the FDA meeting and finance/JV once the FDA requirements can be quantified.

Are you a lawyer or politician, LL as you know how to answer a question without giving an answer.

Meeting the FDA does not necessarily mean travelling to the US it can be done over the internet or mobile stream. It is possible the issue over the CRL has already been resolved but no news will be released until the capital raise is completed so everything is announced together.

Pwhite good example but they don't need £20mill...couple of mill if that??? Also implied they are trying to get to fda meeting with current cash. So 2mill raised means using your calculation for 15% they will make £300k??? When they took a massive hit when the muppet crassly sold when news hit???

They need to make 100 to 200%... to bank millions...and drug is worth many multiples of current m/ cap. Personally think they are delaying announcing to let the big boy that sold or another entity pick up all the cheap stock from p i's who don't know what they are holding. Closer we get to meeting date expect so to be 50 to 100% higher...
They used over 2weeks and not announced their submissionto fda.im expecting it next week , and if not then imho over 95% chance the following week.
The bod are having to keep the mm cartel happy by staying stum as long as possible...

Because institutions can settle for a 10% gain on a large number of shares which can be equivalent to a 100% re-valuation of the market cap.

For example Motif announces they have a meeting with the FDA on 01/04/2019. The announcement of the meeting can double Motif's valuation from today's £20m to £40m. This would normally lead to a doubling of the share price from 7p to 14p.

However under a capital raise program an institution can make available £20m to Motif in cash for shares valued at 7p. When the announcement of the meeting is made investors rush into Motif however instead of the share price doubling the institution sells the stock to investors at 8p. The gain for them is 15% which is equivalent to £3m not bad for two weeks work. The gain for mug PIs who bought at 8p is zero. Most mug PIs are in well over 8p. This is how placings normally work. They make available new shares to new buyers at a price existing buyers can't sell at without incurring a loss.

If you're thinking of buying at 7p you should be OK assuming the capital raise is not at 5p!!!.

If you're a mug PI like me thinking of buying at 7-8p, why will institutions profit and not PIs, if you think an FDA approval is likely?
